It looks like this window (drop ship?) is exactly the same as one designed by NASA after their Cuppola window on the ISS...

I think Ridley spent some time with NASA for preproduction on The Martian. I wonder if he was inspired by any other real world NASA stuff for Prometheus and Covenant? Anyone spot any other similarities?

Nice catch. I haven't noticed any other similarities myself, but Ridley using inspiration from NASA should make the film that much more realistic.
