Giving in to Spoilers

MemberTrilobiteApril 25, 20173618 Views11 RepliesHello, I am dk, and I am a spoilerholic. I have been one for approximately 5 years when Prometheus was about to be released. It started small and seemingly harmlessly enough. I found this website and lurked. There were lots of compelling insights and theories that were very engaging. I found myself wanting a little more. I started to comb You Tube for information, trailers and reviews of trailers. I read comment sections and became obsessed with all things Prometheus. I tried to tune out when Prometheus was released since I wanted to see the movie before any reviews. I could not find time to go to a theater so I went to YT for a review. I knew it was wrong, so I sought spoiler free reviews- at first. Before I knew it, I saw all manner of reviews and didn’t see the movie until the DVD was delivered to my house. I found that the spoilers did not affect my enjoyment (or lack there of) of the movie. I swore to myself that I would go into the following movie spoiler free.
Nothing has changed. I tried. I really did. The threads, trailers and teasers have been too strong to avoid.
It has been said that the best way to avoid temptation is to yield to it.
I have relapsed. I now click on anything and everything AC related. There is no turning back. I love it MWAHAHAHAHA!
