I was a little sketchy about Covenant. I'm sold now.
I was in the not so happy with Prometheus camp. I didn't hate it but I didn't necessarily like it. The more I watch it I find more and more not to like. I don't want to get into it and I don't want this post to be about that.
Anyway, finally we get another movie. I've been kind of liking it from the trailers but what has sold me on it and what will get me in the theater is the hard R. From what I read Covenant is going to be the goriest Alien movie yet. This excites me. Finally after waiting a long time for Prometheus only to be bummed I can be happy.
I really think Covenant is going to be way better. Some people argue meh it's just rehashed alien stuff but to read that they really want to go for the shock value that people felt when they saw the first film excites me to no end.
I was too little to see Alien in the theater. Prometheus was my first Alien movie I saw in theaters and I was a little disappointed.
Finally though I may get that experience:) Bring on the blood and gore:)
