The Alien Franchise Has Been Added to My List of Films That Inspire My Own Film Editing Career!

Hey everyone! I'm an up and coming Film Editor who has seen so many films that I cannot even begin to count! But I hadn't seen "Alien" yet; disgraceful I know! But of course I knew of it and the significance it has to this day in the industry I'm getting into! Also I am inspired by Director Ridley Scott a bunch as well! So I finally saw "Alien" in theaters, the way it's meant to be seen, for the first time on "Alien Day" this year! Just finished "Prometheus" to gear up for "Alien: Covenant"! I have gotten familiar with the lore and can call myself a huge knowledgable fan! But I want to ask you guys; were any of you inspired to become Filmmakers (like me) or involved in any other arts?
