Soulless

I just recently discovered that when you play the Alien vs Ermac in MkXL. Ermac says something about the Alien. ""It does not have a soul"".

Now I know this game is not cannon and it means nothing. But it got me wondering about the Alien being Soulless and how it relates to David. Perhpas that explain his fascination with the creature as both lack a soul. Making it the perfect organism without delusions blah blah.
