My theory on Alien : Covenant ( it may contain spoilers if it is correct. )

My theory on Alien : Covenant

I have been waiting for Alien : Covenant since the first time I finished watching Prometheus. Now I have already watch Prometheus more than 10 times and join counting the time down to welcome the sequel until it will connect with Alien 1979.

I have my own theory what will happen in Alien : Covenant, I think if my theory is right, then, I can predict what will in all the story line.

I think the main villain in Alien : Covenant will be Walter, not David. I’m quite sure that David will be the great hero of all mankind. Since I have watched the first trailer and listened to the song Nature Boy. I strongly feel that David is similar to the Boy in the song lyrics. He worked for Mr.Weyland in the past but after his death, he was free from the command. As we has known that David is quite similar to a human and what he has is the freely emotional intelligence so he is possible to mentally evolve to be a man, that is why he can be considered as a boy in a human life time. It’s his good luck that he will always be a boy due to his synthetic life but his wisdom is not. And the main factor that can give him the humanness is the love and care that Dr.Shaw gives to him in the Prologue : Crossing. That is the main idea from the song, the greatest thing of life, to love and be loved in return.

This is the summary of my theory, I believe that he intended to release black goo and create Alien to save humanity and punish engineers. This is the reason why the paradise of engineers is changed to be a hell. But the people in Covenant team are very unlucky to arrive in this hell, the hell of all engineers. I think Walter will found David’s work and steal his work to use in the other way around, that is to use with human following a command of Weyland corporation to study on what David had done a research since he was a under the command of Mr.Weyland. The droid in the first trailer that will bring Oram to Proto-Xenomorph’s eggs is Walter, not David. And the way he, Walter will act will be similar to what Satan delude Adam and Eve in Eden.

There are so many thing to discuss and digest in many different aspects, philosophy, religion and science.

 It is possible to have a scene that a Proto-Xenomorph fights and wins over a Neomorph to show a superior in the evolution.

Finally, David will come back to his place and find what happened after that he will try to stop Walter and help survived covenant team to fight with Proto-Xenomorph.

And at the end of the movie, it will left a clue on what happened to Dr.Shaw that will lead to the prequel, Alien : Awakening, Dr.Shaw was turned to be…

I think there will be 1 or 2 movies between Alien : Covenant and Alien 1979 because 2 hours is enough to catch so many interesting points to play with and it’s not a good idea to rush it.

As I have told, if I really can catch the plot of Alien : Covenant, I’m sure that I can catch all the story line and I don’t want to make more spoilers, I just want Ridley Scott to hire me to participate in this great project of him.

I really love his work since Ridley Scott has turn this scary monster movie into such a great movie that can combine so many idea together, philosophy, religion and science with one of the biggest questions of all of time, what is the origin of us.
