MemberOvomorphMay 11, 2017I've often thought of a Peter Weyland TED TALK-in-tone TV series that pursues WEYLAND Corps. branching-out into 'Dark-World' Projects and technologies that would lead-up-to the rumblings of the initial Prometheus Mission. What lead-to the planning, preparation and initial justification(s) for the mission in the first-place...
It would have a Blade Runner 'Tyrell Corporation' feel to it too, dark-looking like the first Matrix film but thats just asthetics. The primary function would be the delving into the corporate macinations of WEYLAND's rise to prominance and its consolidation of power. Its journey to WEYLAND-UTANNI's eventual merger and the power-play behind that connecting the dots to discovering the first extra-solar worlds, star systems and their eventual colonization, what may have been discovered there upon those new worlds in the early timeline of the Alien-Universe and what implications they hold for Humankind discovering them.
Only problem is it might end up like the CAPRICA series the BSG franchise tried, so they'd have to do it right, and make it worth watching instead of some soap opera with AI's thrown in.
IN SPACE THERE IS NO WARNING
It be a wise move to create a Netflix series where we could expand the universe and spend time with characters from within the universe.
Maybe we should all get together and write an anthology series...
