What is the role of Weyland Yutani in Alien Covenant?

Dunno but I am sure it will all eventually get explained in the 15th prequel in the series, Weyland-Yutani: An Alien Story.

@Joylitt Nah man, at the theater, baby!  Just like Star Wars it will be released in an off year, sandwiched right between Alien: King of the Xenomorphs, and Alien: When David met Ripley.

Oh and how could I forget the 17th film in the franchise, Rick Deckard: Alien Slayer.

Yup.  Lol.  Maybe we would see David nursing the newborn and putting it to bed at night, etc.  For sustenance maybe it could drink David's milk (no, not THAT kind, lol, although that would be VERY perverse and I am sure Giger himself would approve) that he has flowing through this veins.  Maybe even through his nipple?  I mean, if they are gonna continue to go crazy with these movies then they might as well go full on bat shit crazy, amirite?  Can't really do much more damage to the Alien franchise than what has already been done!
