Fan Theory - David becomes Ash or Mu/th/ur 6000

I've been thinking and I have a wild theory that ties prometheus and covenant to alien and aliens in a really clever way.

SPOILER WARNING about covenant in my explanation

David will somehow transfer his consciousness to Ash or directly to MUTHUR 6000 from the original Alien.

In covenant, his voice is screwed after Walter bashes his wind pipe - also the scars on his face don't match with how David / Walter looks back on-board the covenant - this is a much better explanation to why David can access the Muthur on the covenant and why he wouldn't have to change his clothes and cut off his hand before escaping the planet with Daniels and the others.

Walter even states they made improvements meaning his body is stronger and he can self heal to some extent. 

I have a theory that may take a few liberties but will explain how we still end up with a crashed derelict on LV-426 and why the hell Ash and Mu/th/ur are so intent on getting the alien. (as if they knew it was there all along.)

Basically, the engineers will discover what David has done, find the location of Origae-6 from the damaged lander at the edge of the lake from covenant and go after David for some type of revenge. When they find him, David will have a huge army of Xenomorphs, so their will be some sort of epic battle in the next film.

Following the battle, David will somehow create or through the use of a queen, fill a cargo hold of a procured engineer ship with eggs. He may plan to return to LV-223 to obtain more ‘black goo’ as he knows it is stockpiled there,and then head to Earth to carry out the original engineer plan to kill all mankind, so we may get the answers Shaw was after about why the engineers wanted to wipe us out.

But at some point before he gets to leave origae-6, a surviving engineer (who has had a face hugger impregnate him) will steal back the ship and fly off - leaving David screaming NOOOOO! as all his children have been taken from him.

The engineer will have a chestburster explode from his chest and somehow he’ll still be able to shoot it before he dies which causes the acid hole that Kane, Dallas and Lambert find that leads down to the cargo hold which is full of eggs (with the handy ‘time release’ blue light safety feature)

David, who is then stranded on Origae-6 will then be picked up by humans and somehow I believe he will transfer his consciousness to another android (as he did with Walter) which will be Ash or even to Muthur 6000 - (the Weyland-Yutani all seeing Artificial intelligence.)

The reason I think this, is because it is the only rational explanation why Ash and Muthur 6000 are so intent on getting to the derelict and bringing a specimen back to earth. 

In Covenant David talks about making the perfect organism - exactly like ash says in the original alien before he is finally burnt to a crisp.

The reason the alien looks different in covenant than the traditional alien has an explanation - the deacon, the trilobite and the hammerpead from prometheus had something in common with the neomorphs in Covenant, that being soft organic skin. the neomorph and the deacon resembled the mural from prometheus so this is the default black goo DNA or it could be the original creature the DNA was taken from?

What David is slowly doing is splicing DNA to give the alien's the recognisable hard exoskeleton that enables them to exist in outer space, underwater and even survive molten lead. this could eventually be from his own android components (the missing ingredient so to speak)

The protomorph at the end of the film is closer to what we know and love but David looks visibly gutted when Daniels and Tennessee kill it so easily which might be why he tries to improve it and make it more stealthy (as it appears in other films) This helps explain why the protomorph still appears fleshy-looking compared to the alien we all know and love.

He’s got 7 years and 2000 bodies to play with to perfect his ‘creation’ although I think it’s a bigger deal that he has over 1000 human embryos as well.

With only two face huggers - I’m hoping they are queens as it will help tie the films together.

Scott has stated in the past that he wasn’t a huge fan of the queen but because we saw insect stages of creatures in David’s workshop, I think he will acknowledge the insectoid, hive qualities from Cameron’s ‘Aliens’ and introduce the queen or reproductive aspect of the alien somehow

The Queen will be a result of self-propagation as a result of the alien evolving to survive. To quote another famous franchise - ‘life finds a way’

Even though the off-screen death of Shaw was really lazy script-writing, I’m hoping we get some extra footage inserted back into an extended cut of the film.

I believe Daniels will die in the next film as these films are all about David - his downfall if he becomes Ash or Muthur, will be underestimating the tenacity of a certain other female protagonist who goes by the name of Ripley - she will undo all of David’s work in Alien, Aliens and finally sacrifice herself to kill the last queen in Alien 3.

(I’m not counting Resurrection as it just killed the franchise.)

I guess that if Scott does do an additional trilogy of alien films after awakening, he will hopefully flesh out the 57 year gap between Alien and Aliens. 

Sorry for such a long post - just kind of went on a roll. hope I’ve given some food for thought to all the Alien fans out there.
