Question
Is it confirmed the humanoids were engineers and that this planet was their home planet aka Paradise? Sorry but some of these posts are getting me confused.

Wow. Hopefully it's just the main planet they colonized or originated from. As beings of great intellect and technology, they SHOULD have colonized other planets by now. I expected more from their technology. There were candle holders leading to the egg chamber. That barely exists to us now who are just a few thousand years old. Hard to imagine that a race that older would still have that type of facility still around.
Yes something was very wrong about them. No ships no defence no black eyes looking weaker smaller tiny city maybe no other cities? But no signs of a collapsed empire or otherwise... let's hope it's not just muddled film making.
