is alien queen being eliminated from the franchise?

id say no. by the way RS is going it seems there will be multiple strands of the mutagen so the possibility of different variations of the creatures so the queen remains a possibility. plus ridley liked the queen, it just wasn't the way he wouldv gone had he done more alien films at the time. he was more into morphing as his directors cut shows

the queen was a cool one off in a great action film but for me give me mutation and egg morphing it carries much more dramatic weight,.....not just the visual spectacle of seeing her, but that really all she does anymore is look cool. Plus having a queen makes the xenomorphs (although i prefer to call them the alien species) a hive species and reduces their alien-ness they are easier to understand and relate to if they are a hive species and thus far less terrifying. give me ancient cosmic mutations and morphing and leave the organisms alien...not just in name but in every adjective used to describe them

^ I agree, the Queen was majestic in Aliens and an awesome addition to the franchise in terms of figures, comics and games imo, but I prefer the unknown and incomprehensible origin of the Alien, as it sort of goes hand in hand with the title definition imo.

I liked the Queen.
