Petition for a true sequel to Prometheus

Alien Covenant was not a true sequel to the Prometheus film. After the backlash from Alien fans, Ridley Scott quickly wrapped up the Prometheus plot lines in Alien Covenant and went back to the tired Alien formula.

Prometheus had its flaws, but it explored fresh new themes and concepts, building upon the framework of the Alien franchise and taking it in a new and fascinating direction.

If Alien fans can have an influence on the films that Scott makes, then it is time that Prometheus fans make their voices heard also.
