Remember those rumours about humanity having 5 versions?

God/ the gods created the Enginners as the first humans. The Engineers became the angels of God/s; his/their servants. Creator decided to make another version of humans so they made one engineer sacrifice his life for another humans by drinking the black goo. The black goo was a substance created by the good that would deconstruct dnas so that it could create another life. This lead to the creation of primitive engineer humanoids seen in Covenant. Then god decided to make another version of humans. The creation of different humans continued until there are already five versions of them existing in the universe. The god/gods instructed the engineers to take care of all of us. Theyve been to different planets looking out for us. But then something went wrong. The earthling-version of humans turned out to be unworthy of existing because of violence and cruelty reigning over their race. It displeased the engineers. They have came into a realization that we deserved to be destroyed. The engineers told this to god but god disagreed. God loves all his creations even though they are imperfect. The engineers rebelled because of this. They are now attempting to destroy gods creation. They have became the fallen angels. To destrog earth, they turned the Black goo their god gave them as a weapon that would instantly destroy life. Before they can even destroy us, something went wrong and it stopped them from destroying us. An outbreak of the black goo turned the engineers into deacons killing all engineers. Some have survived but rest are gone. One of the survivors were able to go into a state of cryosleep until woken 2000 years later.

I just made this up of course. Its just a theory I made up but if this was to become true, it would explain a bunch of stuff why this and that had happened in the first place.
