I dont know if its already commonly known around here, but if you are looking for a series that sometimes gives you an Alien vibe you should watch The Expanse
Ofcourse it is in no way related or has any Xeno creatures, but I like to think of the ambience and design of the cities and ships as well as storywise the society, industrial/military factions and stellar ressource mining and so on to be a pretty close display of what our solar system might have looked like in the W-Y universe, shortly before they started reaching out for interstellar colonization and ressources.
I am currently only mid of season1, and I hope I am not recommending any references unworthy of Alien, if the series turns to something Laserswordish/Phasersonstunish ;)
