Pre ordered AC today

In your opinion, is it good, bad or irrelevant it is available for pre order just over a month from theatrical release?

Personally, I only care because I suspect a director's cut will be released later and I will get burned buying twice. Oh well ;)

I pre-ordered it on youtube. ...Which was probably really silly because I'll probably wind up buying the director's cut later.

A:C theatrical run was short lived so it is a good a thing. Sooner - the better.

I pre-ordered it on iTunes. But I expect it will be a few months yet. AFAIK it will be a while yet before it hits cinemas in Japan. Would they release for purchase while it's still in cinemas somewhere?

I had read about companies experimenting with simultaneously releasing in theaters/live stream and DVD but don't know if anyone ever did.
