’This explains the message David sent to Weyland Yutani at the end of the novel that was not in the movie. This was explained in the extra scene called Advent. This also leads to the possibility of David creating the Alien Queen.’

MemberPraetorianAug-02-2017 3:07 PMiRaptus/dk - This special scene 'Advent' is available on the digital HD version as well together with the Phobos video.
Please watch the video by AcidGlow, he offers a fairly profound description of the extra scene in question.
The commenters highlight that this scene should have been used at the end of the movie since it gives more info than the relevant lines from the novel.
As for the movie, the burst scenes are brutal in high def, the neomorph burst and attack scene with that ost music is shocking. I think it is better than the theatre experience, the scenes are not dark, you see everything.

MemberTrilobiteAug-02-2017 3:18 PMI went through about 1/4 of the Acidglow video before realizing it was not the actual video from the blue ray. No big deal. I will hold out for the DVD. I guess it is for the best since that video would likely be from an illegal site if it were released right now.

MemberDeaconAug-03-2017 4:53 PMHopefully we may see more Gore in the Home-release, as someone had informed me the Test Screenings include more Gore and more Nudity.

MemberOvomorphAug-17-2017 5:53 AMThis saved the Blu Ray purchase for me. The deleted scenes were absolutely pointless in my opinion. They didn't need to film any of them in the first place.
That rant aside... Advent was a welcome addition. As far as the Engineer's "wolf" is concerned... I think David may have been referring to the original xenos? I think the guy in the video was referring to the Engineers found in Prometheus who were tasked with the distribution of the black goo, but I don't see why David's referred wolf (the xeno?) would be any different than the banished Engineer wolf. After all, David is not the original creator of the xeno... and neither were the Engineers for that matter. The mystery continues...
My first post on the forums :) Nice to finally contribute.
