It can be viewed as an Epilogue, it shows actions after the end of Alien Covenant.
The well-known videos/scenes ’The Last Supper’ and ’The Crossing’ are called prologues because they show actions before the events of the movie.
The owner of the Youtube video ’Alien: Covenant - David Contacts Weyland Yutani Explained’ AcidGlow gives a detailed description of David’s message in question.

According to him, the Advent video can be found on the digital HD release of the movie. Beyond doubt, the Blu-ray release contains it (Aug 15).
The information revealed in the Advent video belongs to the Alien Universe, it is an official extra scene similarly to the prologue ’The Last Supper’.

It is directed as if David is transmitting to the company and wanting to extend an "Olive Branch" to the company. In this video, we are given insight into his lab and Shaw's fate. David explains that he wanted to purge the planet but she protested, thus he had to be forceful. In the narrative, David wanted to make her immortal, special but she died. He then used her to make his experiments. What is interesting is they cut to the Covenant and David explains he now has Lambs and he looks to make his Queen, we then see a shot of Daniel's in cyrosleep...David's hand Bentley touches the tube. David then sends all the information about the creatures to Weyland-Yutani.

Just watched it again. I think David is saying that the organism works better with(in) human/engineer tissue, mentions the Engineer ritual (shows picture of Engineer with Giant Face Sucky Thing on it's face, insinuating that the Humans and Engineers as hosts is the perfect way to create the "wolf" has he calls it. And now he's creating the queen. He warns Wayland that "if you do this there will be no turning back. My creatures should be set loose to rule this galaxy"

MemberDeaconAug-03-2017 2:28 PMI think its easy to misinterpret what ATI was saying.
This is not a extra Scene at the End of Alien Covenant as far as End Credits, what this seems to be is some like Diary of Events by David... with David simply Narrating something he did after the Last Scene in Alien Covenant.
So its just how the Crossing Prologue was not part of the Movie but it was David informing the viewers of some of the Events that happened after Prometheus and as they arrived on Paradise/Planet 4
And this new Video is David doing the same thing but this time telling the viewer what he had done after he had placed the crew in Cryo-sleep, and so David also recalls some things about Dr Shaw too.
So this Video is maybe kind of like to Alien Awakening as the Crossing was to Alien Covenant.
I have not came across or seen it yet but this is what i appears to be and i think ATI meant it as such, but the way they put it down could read like it was a End of Credits Scene.
Which as far as i am aware it was not... i only sat down to all the Credits Once at the Box Office and so NO extra Scene, the other TWO times which is at the same Cinema Chain i did not sit though the credits but i cant see them being any different.

MemberDeaconAug-03-2017 2:30 PMI think it will raise some Questions, and again as with a number of things related to the Franchise these accounts by David seem to not 100% be accurate with what clues the movie shows.
But then we can never be sure if David in his Narration to the viewer is telling Lies and not being honest. I will maybe comment further if i can see the Video.

Most remain in the Packaging... then i get the DVD when cheaper and watch that, Funny as i have all the Alien movies stored on my Cable TV HD when i record them when they was on, Prometheus the same... so my BOX-Sets remain unopened.
But i am just weird like that.. but few friends and brother i buy cool stuff for, regret opening their gifts off me as a £20-50 Presents have over the years turned into £250-700 Investments if never opened LOL

I feel that David is thee best Movie Villain in the history of Movies period. No one has his ambitions. I love this new life given to the story
