do you think it is possible for a facehugger to inpregnate a xenomorph?

This was a pretty big debate last winter. I have no idea who started the thread. I only remember BigDave and a couple others really hitting hard on that topic.

For starters, the xeno has that inner jaw that will make quick work of the hugger. The xeno is also immune to the acid.

Maybe that's why David created the facehugger, it's designed for blood-circulated organisms.  :D

I dont think it would have looked like that custom made Xenomorph figure/statue etc.

I would say a Xenomorph Face Hugger can not infect a Xenomoph and would not also infect one either.. now a Face Hugger on a Neomorph is a whole different kettle of fish.

However..... we have to wonder what happens if the Sacrificial Goo infects a Face Hugger and the results applied to a Xenomorph ;)

I always liked the idea that the xenomorph head could be an evolutionary defence against facehuggers. Maybe rival colonies on a home planet. The face and neck are further apart so the tail has a harder job, there's nowhere for the legs to wrap round and then obviously inner jaw. I think if you were designing a head that facehuggers can't grab that would be it.

Although let's be honest, Giger definitely wasn't thinking that when he first drew them!
