"The Terror" is based on Dan Simmons' novel about the doomed "Franklin expedition" (1845), which in a attempt to map out the North-West passage from Europe to Asia became icebound in the arctic, all the tripulation lost. The moody trailer features a lot of the "haunted house" (in this case haunted ship) atmosphere from Alien, including shots of a scared cat and the suggestion of a stealth, monstrous attacker. The production premieres on AMC on March 26

Seems interesting.... it would be interesting to see what Ridley Scott and Production have in store for the Demon Bear ;) I hope something a bit Alien.

BigDave Who knows. All I know is that Dan Simmons is a sci-fi and horror writer who won and was nominated for multiple Hugo, Locust, Nebula and Arthur C. Clarke awards. That to me is a big advantage over writers like Joseph Logan.
