Have to wait until 4th quarter 2018 earliest for the finished product. They say it's only available for pre-order now. I can't buy it anyway, my better half won't allow it.

I saw that. If I was serious, I would wait until 4th quarter. Otherwise I wouldn't start paying for something that turns out to be a scam. Wouldn't be the first time.

The size of the statue is good though, it would fit under the table. For now I am not allowed to display my 7" big chap statue, it sits quietly dismantled in the box.

I get your point. They have other xenomorphs in stock for the price of a car. I know nothing of Hollywood Collectibles but it was some fresh news and I thought someone would be interested.

This particular piece although steep for many, actually seems pretty fair considering size, materials and detail.
