There is a page where they compare the big Engineer-head in Prometheus with the stone-statues on the Easter Island.
I found the picture on this page:

Do you think that is where they got the inspiration from? Looking forward to your replies, this could be an interesting discussion.

MemberChestbursterSep-30-2020 4:43 AMDid you know that the inhabitants of Easter Island ruined the ecology of their island, destroying all the trees for the construction of these statues?
A great cultural heritage is often inseparable from madness. I think androids would be more sane. xDDD
Can we find parallels here with the engineers who, in their pride (or worship), destroyed their own world?

MemberPraetorianSep-30-2020 3:55 PMI can see parallels with EI and Olmec heads...especially the Olmec.
What If, the Easter Island statues are done to honor/represent Non-Engineers...perhaps Rivals to The Engineers?
That would explain why they look so Different from an Engineer.

SuperAlien: I don't think that I've seen one of those before but thanks for pointing it out. That's interesting, it seems that the Olmecs was a early civilization in North America.
