No context is given and we don't know who's yelling, but the first two things that came to my mind at least was that there could either be a traitor involved or maybe one or more of our unfortunate scavengers is morally divided to let a fellow team member through? We've seen this concept in previous entries, hence why above mentioned scenarios struck me as possible. A few examples:
In Alien, part of the crew didn't want to let fellow member Kane aboard because something (unknown to the crew at that time) had attached to his face which prompted the use of the quarantine protocol.
In Aliens, Burke shuts the door for Ripley and the remaining marines thus betraying the others (only to find out a xenomorph was on his side of the door haha)
Finally, in Alien Covenant, one unnamed colonizer in the lander 1 turned pale and started convulsing mad violent before his back started melting from the inside, causing Faris to lock the door to the medbay, thus trapping Mr Milkshake and Karine, possibly due to another quarantine protocol (however I believe it wasn't explicitly mentioned) or because Faris was scared shitless (I mean, what would you do?)
Do you think something similar happens in Romulus? Or assuming there is a traitor, could it be one of the scavengers, or a survivor from the station? Human, or android?

MemberPraetorianMar-30-2024 7:33 AMI always believed the xenomorphs would initially use Eggmorphing to create a starter nest. Then when certain environmental conditions are met a genetic marker would trigger within the xenomorphs which one would naturally develop into a Queen

MemberChestbursterMar-30-2024 9:15 AMI wouldn't exclude some big reveal like a queen at the end of the film considering Romulus takes places between the first two films and is possible and primarily tied to them to a certain extent. It looked like one facehugger (or maybe it was all of them) had a different appearance in the trailer. Maybe that one, or one randomly if they're all the same, injects a queen embryo.

MemberXenomorphMar-31-2024 7:53 AMReproducing the queen is way to Alien: Resurrection for me ( and I love A: R!). I hope they do something different.......( Maybe something really bizarre.... like using a cow or some other Earth organism to give birth to an egg pod )
I don't see them raiding the derelict for the egg ( ALIENS )....Though, if Ash is in the system maybe he directed Romulus team to them? But that really is a ALIENS remake.
