Alien: Romulus greenband teaser trailer new shots

News CorrespondentStaffNeomorphApril 01, 2024A green band trailer was uploaded on YouTube. It's mostly the same as the first teaser trailer. The shot of a Facehugger being removed from someone was replaced with a shot of a laboratory door titled "Romulus Lab" opening, revealing the laboratory.

Nice one! Spooky lab, gives me the creeps! And the symbol on the rather sturdy door with Romulus and Remus nursing on the wolf...
Looks like a test tube.
I wonder is this where the Big Chap is being kept

This character (an android?) I guess gets access to the lab.

Yeah my guess is that "Andy" (according to IMDB) in the previous picture to the left is an android judging by the fact that he does not get attacked by the facehuggers in the teaser (they skitter past his feet) and notice his calm posture and deadpan facial expression. However, according to rumors there's a female android called "Rook". Or maybe there are two androids again
As for the tube, I'm guessing it's the original chap. You can barely discern the contour or shape of something inside.
Cool! I hope the Blu-Ray comes in a Romulus Lab box.
Maybe a spring loaded facehugger cut-out jumps when you slide it open.
I hope this generates interest to make more ALIEN games, novels, and RPG material.
Fingers crossed! We are in dire need of an Alien Isolation sequel (for closure at least) AvP 4 and/or an actual good Colonial Marines game (even though I actually enjoyed the broken mess that is CM!)
I would love to see a second attempt at Alien Crucible but using the ALIEN RPG system
Thanks for getting this posted Nebula! Got it front paged for ya! I love the Romulus Lab teaser... Soooo pumped for this movie the more I see!
Predator: Badlands - coming November 7th, 2025
Wow, great shot, but I'm also a little apprehensive about this. Probably it's just a short scene at the beginning of the movie, where they quickly explain that they've found "Big Chap" and have been playing with its DNA. Then, they dive directly into the movie with the young crew discovering the Romulus space station, and that's when the action starts.
If it were to be this way, I think it would be very disappointing. As an Alien fan, I would like to see more action and a story related to how "Big Chap" was found, more action in the lab, etc., and then gradually move into the story of the young crew.
Interesting, I hope that they'll get enough characters right so we have someone/some people to support.
My guess is the film will open up with the W-Y company discovering the Big Chap drifting in space and taking him away before switching to where the main characters live, just to set the mood nothing too big. Then sometime later in the film the main characters find the lab and discover what happened that led to the downfall of the space station.
If we get to see Big Chap, I wonder will he have plantigrade or digitigrade legs?

I saw someone mentioned that the chair (on the right side) is tipped over, indicating something bad probably already happened.
I am picturing the film opens with the Narcissus panning away from the screen and leaving, and then we see a floating unconscious Big Chap drifting in space, and the A L I E N title emerging with haunting soundtrack
Your ideas are brilliant. I picture something very similar: the film opening to a haunting theme, letters slowly forming the title with clips of the frozen Big Chap in-between each letter. We see up-close shots of its fingers, its tail and finally the face, reminding us once again of the nightmarish and horrifying creature (scare-effect enhanced by the eerie soundtrack nettling through our ears and into the brain)
From the perspective inside a cargo hold of a ship (direction facing forward) cargo doors slowly open to reveal the silhouette of two figures in hazmat suits and the alien body from a distance as it draws near the ship's interior. The Alien title is almost complete.
In the next shot we see the the scary looking suits slowly strapping the alien body to a futuristic gurney. They push it towards the camera while the screen slowly fades out, the soundtrack reaches its spine-chilling crescendo and the title is complete: Alien Romulus.
The focus now shift towards the young colonizers. Destination: Renaissance station...
