The underbite on that new Xenomorph is really prominent - lending more credibility to the deformity theory I have that these Aliens are deformed results of genetic tampering with the original Big Chap DNA.

Seems like it, and the Renaissance station was a Xenomorph Factory, until something happened that led to the downfall. Looks like we'll find out in the film but see the events in the prequel comic.
