[UPDATE] Alien: Covenant trailer announcement coming tonight from Fox!

I would imagine online announcement via fox sites and the Alien Anthology Twitter and Facebook pages. 

Maybe a Teaser?

or maybe like the Fast and Furious 8 Montage, where cast talk about the Franchise a bit and get scenes from previous movies and maybe few sneak peaks at AC.... with then the date the trailer will drop...  just as FF8 did with its like cast comments and few sneaks including Charlize Theron

Last night the journalists were shown 15 minutes of footage from the film as well as the finished trailer which we'll be getting soon.

Oh well.. But LOOK!

A teaser and then 3-5 days later the trailer comes out.

If those Reporters and Press had seen a Teaser i think we could get one soon... the same one.. even if its short...

As for first Trailer i think a advanced Teaser (30 second) or Trailer should hit the internet at least by Christmas.

I am edging my bets at by Christmas Eve 10PM USA Eastern time.. but as early as maybe next Friday

I don't think we'll need to wait much longer - The new Apes trailer has dropped, and the release date for that is two months after A:C

I'm with others who think it'll release when Assasins Creed opens.

Indeed we have Spider Man and Skull Island as well and so Alien Covenant should follow soon as its released earlier than a number of the movies who trailers have and are dropping this Month

My gut feeling is we're 2 days away from Rogue One Thursday Sneak peak.  I bet it will drop at the movies.

That would be the best time to drop it in my opinion.  You know how many people are going to that movie?  It's 2-3 days away.

I'm still betting on Assassins Creed. However. If it does I'll chime in I have opening day tickets. But I'm sure you guys will know about it by then.

Star Wars definitely has a larger following then Assassins.  Start Wars has been around for almost 40 years.  I would be willing to bet on it dropping in Rogue One.

The trailer should probably be here soon.

Most likely that it will be shown before the new year.
