A Red Herring or is Daniels Fate Revealed?

I really hope this is a red herring to throw people off or one of many character pictures they are going to release with the same image and idea in it...otherwise, this is majorly bad marketing.

I vote red herring since it leaves no ambiguity like the official trailers. I 'choose to believe' it just isn't so ;)

It is definitely a nepmorph in that pic, but im hoping for a red herring...even if she dies i dont want to know how, and if this is how she dies then i agree with someone above that this would make this horrible marketing...basically telling the end of the movie

Maybe their twitter was hacked?  What in the world is going on with their marketing?!

Maybe it's both:

we won't see the exact creatures, but everyone in the X-ray might become hugger victims.
