Im a sucker for Isometric strategy games / RPGs, so I bought it. Looks good. I'll let you know if its as Alieny as they reckon.
I remember Blackwinter-Witch saying she loves these types of games. May be of interest/inspiration for her too

MemberTrilobiteOct-28-2017 6:39 PMIt reminds me of some really good 90s point and click stuff. Ya gotta give credit to the indies. They take chances that AAA companies will not. Anxious to hear what your thoughts are. BTW Limbo is a nice little indie game if you give it a whirl.

MemberPraetorianOct-28-2017 7:04 PMthanks dk Ill check out limbo.
I just started the opening of stasis. Definitely Aliens inspired, right down to the cinematography and music. Very polished so far, and it has its own dark gritty thing going on.
Check this out!

MemberPraetorianOct-30-2017 12:49 PMDue to a busy weekend Im only about 2-3 hours into it, but damn its good so far, definitely has a dark and lonely atmosphere. Your character wakes from stasis in an empty derelict ship....not the one he went to sleep in. A bit like Alien Resurrection from Pulvis' POV. The game makes you feel very vulnerable as your character is injured, stark naked, and with no knowledge or gear to help survive.
Perfectly Alien. Haven't met any of the antagonists yet though, just walking around an empty ship collecting bits and pieces, solving some puzzles. Lots of bloodstains, drag marks, signs of fighting and violence.
Love it!

MemberPraetorianNov-17-2017 1:04 AMSo it took longer than expected but I finally clocked this game. The classic isometric gameplay throughout the game is unreal and visually stunning, a lot of thought and research was put into creating a fantastically claustrophobic environment onboard a dying ship. The gameplay itself is limited and at times a little vague on its own psychics about what you can and cannot do. But the strength of this game is in its setting, plot and character drama.
The story and characters! Suburb. First rate. Disturbingly dark and almost as nihilistic as Alien 3, it doesn't shy away from tragedy and despair. A lot of the backstory is told through dead character PDA's but you quite literally feel and see what the inhabitants of the Groomlake endured as the ship descended into chaos around them.
There are several subtle and not-so-subtle references to Alien throughout the game. One I had to laugh at was a shit-kicker character you find dead and eviscerated called Burke Carter.....
