I would totally love Dane Hallet to do artwork for my band!!

Vulgarity spoilers!!!! But(t) when can we receive a reinterpretation of the Penis Landscape using Ridley, Hallet, Hagg and Scott jr as protagonists, and featuring alien heads and inner mouths as said Ps. 

Regarding the band itself, another black metal outfit obsessed with morbid things. Great, as if we don't have enough of those? Yawn...

Penis Landscape, or Work 219, most notably included as art work in a Dead Kennedys album and led to a shit storm in the mid 1980s (yes, I own a copy), could benefit from an HD update with some slithering and audio. It would be very explicit but that would be the point. Jello Biafra's rationale for using the work was to illustrate how we are all basically screwing ourselves- but there is one penis in the pic that is wearing a condom!

ignorantGuy No. The HD remaster is not the DK album or music but the picture itself. It would be an update similar to the Li update in the OP.

Interestingly, punk sort of collapsed for the reason you stated and it also became the very thing it was against. It celebrated individuality but then you weren't punk enough etc...At any rate, Hallet could do the work some justice.

dk The same thing that I would say happened to Star Wars. The fans worship the originals from more then 30 years ago and then criticize the new ones for things the originals did and the studios get the wrong message and the fans become even more irritated.

For Hallet, I was always drawn to this: Note how the creature to the left is crisp, poised and pointy in all the wrong places while the one to the right looks a bit less robust and a bit flail. The left hand fingers look like facehugger appendages. There is a lot to ponder here imo.

I find DH version of one of HR Gigers (Li) works very interesting, when we look at Dr Shaw we can see her fate is somewhat connected to the (Li) Artwork by HR Giger we can draw a similarity to a degree, but this Art-piece also has what could be interpreted as Eggs in the Background and we see that Dr Shaws Fate is alluded to playing a role in HOW those Xenomorph Eggs were obtained.

We know this was ONE of the things David had carried out on Dr Shaw.... and he had said he intends to do the same with Daniels (could be a number of things he had done) and when we consider his ADVENT he mentions he needs to Perfect his Queen..   If we loosely look at what this means in the context to the Alien Franchise it means at the BASICS he needs to Perfect the means he can Produce his Eggs.

Some kind of Fate on Screen in more detail could be interesting..

Regarding the last image posted by DK whats interesting is around the time he was working on this Hallet had also worked on a number of other pieces that depicted a Hybrid Humanoid with varying degrees of like Xenomorph/Neomorph DNA,  we can only assume that he had bee interested in pondering what kinds of Mutations would could have been introduced when Humanoids suffer a similar infection to what Fifield had (go by other concepts and alternative scene NOT Toxic Avenger Fifield).

We could only imagine what affect a Infected/Evolved Dr Shaw would have, what kind of Memories/State of Mind would she have... could we had seen a Human who cant PROCREATE now Evolved into a Hybrid that becomes obsessed with Procreating.   Imagine a Hybrid that would then go around attacking other Humans in the Pursuit of Procreation and HOW that image by Dane Hallet could fit loosely to that end.

If we look at HOW the Queen works in Aliens (so we can assume) as its not 100% explained.. If we assume the Queen does-not require Sex to Procreate (Parthenogenesis ) and the Xeno-Virus DNA allows for this and then look at how Dr Shaw Procreated the Trilobite we could ponder that a Hybrid Female Humanoid could maybe see her Egg Cells Evolve into Embryos and then look at a means of how would the next stage or Procreation take place.

*It lays Eggs?

*It Produces/Gives Birth to Trilobite/Face Hugger Fetuses

*Or maybe IT (Hybrid Female) could act like a WALKING Face Hugger that Produces a Embryo/Organism in her Womb and is able to somehow regurgitate this via some means and IMPLANT them into a Host similar to what we see in Dane Hallets work shared by DK.

I think that would be a interesting form of Procreation, but it is something we have seen the Pred-Alien do in AVPR

DK: The picture with the one that pushes his fingers into the eyes of the other creature looks nasty. If that would happen to a human if the other one is strong enough to push his fingers through the eyeballs then maybe the other person would go blind. I think of some torture thing when I see that picture, eww.

Thoughts_Dreams The pic does have a torture/sadistic look to it. 

WALKING Face Hugger that Produces a Embryo/Organism in her Womb and is able to somehow regurgitate this via some means and IMPLANT them into a Host. That is a great idea and I think is different enough and superior to the AVPR. It also recalls Species a bit- imagine if this creature appeared human until it seduced a victim and then BAM- the facade disappears and the real creature appears. Yeah- it's been done but it could be done again. To keep it from getting old, it could only scare once. That's why it might have to be an episode that ends with this reveal.

Regarding the Image of that Female Crushing that other being...  we could imagine such a Scene as this..

"Miss Vickers i cant let you open that Door, what ever is attached to Rafeal's Face is a unknown Organism and i cant let it aboard the ship!"

"May i remind you Connor who is in Charge, open the Door thats a Order!"

"Sorry but i just cant allow you!"

Medows tries to plead with Connor

"Just open the Door for God Damn Sakes, that thing is Crushing his Skull"

Connor points his Riffle at Medows

"Dont do anything stupid, both of you back away NOW!!"

Miss Vickers moves closer, then Medows Rushes at Connor to try and take the Gun... a SHOT rings out!

"i told you not to move!" shouts Connor

Medows leans over a downed Vickers

"do you know who you have Shot, now we could have two potential Fatalities, open the God Damn Door"

Vickers arises from her knees, walks over to Connor... SHOCK on his Face, she places her hand over his Head and SQUASHES is like a Orange....   Connors Face Pours with Blood and we see it mixes with the LIQUID that is pouring from Vickers mid section... 

Mixing to form a PINK Pool....

So Vickers is an android after all!
