I have animated gifs here where you can match the rails seen in inflating stomach gif with the Noomi in pain gif. Don't think it is Vickers although they could use the same bed I suppose. Think when you see them all together it becomes more obvious they are all apart of the same scene.

Thanks Biomechanic. What I meant was Theron might be the battered woman, not the "pregnant" woman. I say this because, in her famous push ups picture, she appears to be wearing at least the breast coverage/wraps of the "stasis/medical" clothing that we see on the battered woman.

Yeah could be. With all the bad stuff that happens in space no wonder they can only find space truckers willing to go.

Membrane, you're right about the distance she has made through the door and into the room (which looks like a mental asylum btw) What the hell are those 3 doing exactly?!? Looks like a scene from 'One who flew over the cuckoo's nest' - they don't seem to give a shit what's happening.

The gun... that's a perfect way to describe them. It does feel like they are some of the mentally unbalanced in "One Flew..." (dressed in all white nonetheless). Maybe the battered woman is Nurse Ratched. :-) Seriously though, I'm curious as hell about this scene to see if there will be any "normal" reaction from these 3 guys.

We at are assuming pregnancy and or alterations by the SJ/alien. Maybe the humans are the real monsters experimenting on Shaw?

ive found the "alien harvester" plot ( that is NOT from Spaihts but is fan made ) terribly boring ..totally void of any kind of emotions or actions .... However there can be some links between that comic story and the actual story ... just a coincidence maybe .

Lot of very similar ideas floating around here actually that work quite well with that comic. Good find! Actually the limited confirmed facts we know (assuming Ridley isn't throwing us off purposely) work with the comic as well.

Yep, I know, but look: he has a cut in his index finger. As all of you know, androids bleed a milk-like substance. You can clearly see a drop of milk. And the ?claws don't look to friendly to me.

Btw, the androids in the Alien universe don't look to mechanical to me. More like a form of biomechanoid?

well the "claws" or are vials for DNa (or something else ) or is some sort of facehugger skeleton ....

I don't really see anything out of the ordinary, except that he's holding onto something rather goopy and which contains something slightly resembling chestbursters.

I can't definitively see android blood in either of the available pictures although there does seem to be something. I think the idea comes from the picture I just posted where he is looking at his finger and the eyewitnesses that saw the original footage at the comic con screening saying it was a white substance. I take a leap of faith and say yes he probably got scratched by one of those claws when he was playing with the ampules without gloves.

First knuckle index finger. Picture quality is not that great, but I see it clearly on the pic posted by RickK. I'm too lazy (or stupid) to post a pic myself.

BTW, does anyone here find it rather stupid to handle this kind of stuff without any form of protection, android or not?

You do have to watch the motion and you see something small that seems to move downward on his finger but it is not clear what it is. Could simply be a reflection of light. Nevertheless He is clearly looking at his finger in the comic con trailer. That isn't something someone just take time out of the day to do unless there is something wrong. well some of you might do it. : )

What's the type of video you're watching? Under hi-def Quicktime (and a good monitor) it's quite clear. (Shit, now I have to create another account to upload the pics; as I said before, I'm lazy)

Maybe the pure alien dna being fused with android "blood" is the origion of the BIO + MECHANICAL creature we know from the original movies.

Just click the picture button and add the URL to the text box. The url should start with http and end with a picture type extension like jpg. Sometimes places like facebook use their own method to show the picture and the link wont work so you have to get to the direct link. Most browsers let you do this by right clicking the picture and choosing the appropriate action from the drop down menu. I see what you circled there I just can't say that is what you say it is.

Yo Rickk, that is actually an original idea. never thought about that possibility. though i must say, that the whole Technology of the SJs are quite Biomechanical.

The android really is bio-mechanical. In a sense human are as well. We have metallic substances as well as organic in our bodies. We are all making the assumption of DNA based mutation. The aliens goop doesn't have to be DNA based at all, or any definition we could currently cover in scientific theory - its alien. Certainly it's possible that the goop could corrupt both androids and humans. I like the idea. What's interesting though is whatever is in that ampule looks pretty organic and living to me. That doesn't mean anything but it's clearly more than just blank goop. It has a form, claws almost, and appears tissue like. Pure face hugger? Pure alien corruption weapon, so not simply a face hugger but something else to administer the alien weapon into other organisms?

I remember seeing the frame of David scrutinizing his index finger, but, it was with his palm towards his face. In the picture in question, the supposed android blood is dripping down the top of David's index finger. One could make the assumption that the android blood wrapped itself around the index finger as it dripped down. However, it seems like a stretch to me. I think that shot with David lifting the specimen out of the alien ampule is just about that - lifting a specimen out of an ampule. I think Charlize's character infects David with the alien bioformer, but just not in this scene.

android cannot get infected. their white blood is made of chemicals, otherwise it'd decay and start to smell. after we get that simple fact out of the way, that none of you seem to be able to figure out, lets move onto the finger scene. when you touch slimy gooey things, you tend to drip all sorts of things from the point of contact. in this case, the hand, more specifically the finger he used to grab it. what is it? will an android really be fascinated by his own blood? or will he be more fascinated by the texture and viscosity of the alien fluid? androids are designed for analysis and are almost always scientists. it's simply interested in the substance, nothing more. this stupid crap about an android being infected makes me laugh.

walterhiller might be cranky, but he does raise some good points which challenge the theories about the movie's plot. On the other hand, recall that the Space Jockeys have the power to create biomechanical life forms, so the ability to infect an Android, is not out of the question.

I think RickK hit the nail on the head with his last post. As for walterhiller... It's good to have someone to laugh at :-) Maybe.....the space jockey form IS an organic suit which envelopes the "alien" when needed and organically fuses with the wearer. MAYBE....all the biomechanoid elements are just things which are "tools" and are used when needed. Maybe, if David becomes infected (in whatever way), the biomechanoid tissue merges with the android tissue and becomes it's own living being.....a xenomorph. Maybe David is the first...?

Soooo someone's complaining about how unlikely it would be for "alien goop" to infect an android? *blink-blink* Shouldn't it bother you more that in the "Alien" universe, waaaaay too many people have a cavalier, c'est la vie attitude about directly exposing themselves to completely unknown, alien biological organisms/materials.......apparently, even on a scientific research vessel. C'mon..........seriously?
