For more than a month we've had a public survey here on the site asking fans and visitors alike which Alien movie they thought was the most re-watchable of the series. After a month of voting, here are the results...
Unsurprisingly Ridley Scott’s original Alien from 1979 was voted most re-watchable with 26% of total votes but to our surprise the second most re-watchable Alien movie on the list wasn't James Cameron's sequel Aliens, or even Fede Alvarez's recent Alien: Romulus... it was Scott's Alien: Covenant! While some might contest that the results are biased due to the survey being hosted on a website themed around Alien: Covenant, voting is open to visitors to the site, not just registered members.

Most re-watchable Alien movies ranked
- Alien
- Alien: Covenant
- Aliens
- Alien: Romulus / Prometheus (tied)
- Alien 3
- Alien: Resurrection
Now, these results are accurate up to March 29th, 2026 and sentiment may shift as the survey gains more votes and popularity – but as it stands, Ridley Scott’s entries dominate the results.
