Jeffomorph, although it's a long-shot, I like that idea of finding a derilict-shaped ship on Earth for 2 reasons: (i) we know the crew needs a space map to find the destination planet and we also know from the trailer that a space map is seen by humans inside a derelict room; (ii) in the trailer we never actually see a big human interstellar ship - we might assume indeed that the one we see is a smaller one that follows the derelict. Again it's a long-shot, but it's an interesting idea.

Maybe the derelicts are a collection vessel. Bare with me one minute. Sometime in the distant past the engineers sent out a fleet of derelict ships to seed any planet that looked promising for life. Maybe the ships were automated, or possibly the ships are alive in their own right. Once the seeding is complete the ship shuts down and goes into hybernation mode. The assumption here is that once a lifeform becomes suitibly advanced, it will discover the derelict. Think monolith in 2001. Once discovered the derelict reactivates and takes the evolved lifeform home to the creators. The derelict on LV-426 could have become the victim of it's own creation. We know in early drafts of ALIEN/Star Beast that the pyramid containing the eggs was indiginous to the planet (seeded life). The pyramid was what was left of a civilization. Maybe a hugger got out and found the derelict. Being the only available host, it jumped on the biomechanoid jockey and created a new creature. But... I can't explain the 1000's of eggs in that theory :)

but why then a ship have to go in space to reach a destination on planet earth ? in 2 shots we see clearly the "magellan/prometheus/snoopy" orbiting or entering in an atmosphere

Frantz,if you see on teaser trailer, on the ampule room they are not using helmets! And if you look well that room look like are closed for a long time. And in the year that story roles,perhaps the air on earth are not breathable because of pollution or environment changes, but it´s only a idea...

Frantz, I'm just having fun thinking out loud. I would be shocked if any of my scenario was actually in the movie. But, to answer your question. It could be that they discover the coordinates of the ships "home", and they are completely unaware that the ship is still functional. They start prepping for the Prometheus for the voyage when suddenly the ship reactivates. It could be something someone does while examing the ship that causes the ship to wake up. Perhaps it's a console/puzzle that requires a certain level of intelligence to activate (prime numbers, etc). Clearly they would keep examing the ship even though they know where it comes from. The derelict ship launches and Prometheus follows in chase..

can be can be...what puzzle is that there are many images inside with helmets on and some other without ...something happen , different places or they get aware later that the air is breathable ?

I know some of you guys don't like the word Xenomorph, but whatever. It's just so obvious, it's there, a Xenomorph going from right to left, we can clearly see it'S head and the spikes on his tail at the bottom of the image.

i think " Wild card " is a script over the leaken trailer film ..is not part of the scene ... the xenomorph .. i dont see it ....

Ok yeah maybe you're right on the WIld Card thing. For the xenomorph, just look the black form that pass infront of the rest, on the left at the start of the gif we can see the back of the head of a xeno, and after we can see it's tail with the kind of spikes and gaps in it. Going from right to left. If I can get my hand on some sort of programs to highlight things in the gif... Once you'll see it it will be way too obvious :P

can you just take one frame and make clear ( highligth with a red pencil tool ) the contours of the alien shape ?

I clearly see the taillike structures in front of the wormshape, but I am still having trouble seeing the Xenomorph head. But is this actually from Prometheus and not some blurry, distorted close-up from one of the AVP-disasters...?

I don't see this at all. Besides, there are no Usual Xenomorphs in this film. I'll stake my left maple but on it.

I don't remind any weird white creatures in any of the AvPs lol, even if Requiem had weird stuff... Also, I heard/read that the movie might contain a xenormorphs near the like 8 last minutes of the movie.

@LHeurex Assuming that it is in fact a white creature. Well, it was Just a thought - it all looks a little blurry and jagged. Maybe its a composite of scenes from different movies.

I see the head shape now, it actually looks like a Xenomorph from a distance.

So maybe it's just a fake leaked scene with some scenes from other movies being mashed together, but that still doesn't explain that weird white thing lol. I'm gonna be happy if we see this scene anyway ^_^

There are no indications that there is something fake in this trailer ... basically it show 95% of the trailer that was aired one month later ...they just trimmed a couple of scenes that were showing a bit too much ...maybe we will see this version in a couple of months still i really dont see that xenomorph :D and to be honest can be everything ..ranging from a fart to a coffee stain .

...i don't see it either...I desperately wanne see it tho....but it simply ain't there....

Looks like some kind of shiny eel, maybe it´s from a nature documentary lol Well, personally I hope Prometheus won´t be filled with all kinds of creepy creatures. We´ll see :-)

@LHeureux, YOU ARE RIGHT!!!!!! I thought at first you were talking about the last frame.. there is a xeno in the last frame of the gif.. and its right there! There are 2 xenos.. I'm trying to spruce up the image and I'll post it! WOW, that is all I have to say!

LOL SParky, I didn't use it I just stole the still. But I do see what he is getting at by the way. HEY BM when I go to 2:08 and stop the video. All you see is from the waist down of the person jumping the ravine until you hit 2:09. Here I did another edit of the still with a little bit better of an outline of what he's talking about.
