Ingeniero - 'I do like the assembly cut for Alien 3 but I think we might have missed out with bypassing Gibson's screenplay Ati. Bishop is one of my favorite characters. Thank you for this.'
Your opinion is close to my heart. Would be exciting to see a space station chaos with aliens. I hope it is not too late.
Thanks DK, Thanks IRaptus
IRaptus - Thanks for the info added and I'm glad you find the painting interesting and useful.
dk - 'Pretty mind blowing info Ati- thanks!'
Cerulean Blue - 'Ati - WOW! Great find! Alien III could have been so much better than what we got with Alien 3.'
Thank you, I agree with you.
And a video from one of my old threads showing the Russian robot soldier:

dk - Thanks for the video.
Watch this video with Sophia, it is much more frightening:

IRaptus - Thank you for the link to my thread.
Johner - Then I don't think we need this asshole anymore-
Wayne Haag’s Terrace with Garden - concept art for Alien Covenant:

Giger’s Homage to Bocklin after Bocklin’s Isle of the Dead (1977):

Bocklin's art was liked by many people, artists, etc. For example, Giger liked his works as well. I'm sure the Hitler factor had no role in the making of Alien Covenant.
It's funny but I've found a photo showing a small island in Montenegro (Europe) which is very similar to this island on the painting. I'm trying to find it again.
Ingeniero - I'm glad the Giger version made you amazed. :)
Thanks everyone who responded. Doesn't surprise me someone caught this before. As someone who's new here, you guys are through. dk, goggle Hitler's favourite painter. That's where I got it. Thanks again everybody.
Michael Bishop (enhanced) leaving the USCSS Patna after it landed on the surface of Fiorina 161, see below.

You're most welcome Ati.
Neuromancer was amazing. I read Pattern Recognition and Zero History from Gibson in the past few years and thought they were great too.
I do like the assembly cut for Alien 3 but I think we might have missed out with bypassing Gibson's screenplay Ati. Bishop is one of my favorite characters. Thank you for this.
I really, really want to see Yutani Commandos.
I don't believe so.
The Alien: Covenant Origins novelization has no clear description of a xenomorph in the book. The story was still great in regards to explaining what what happening on Earth right before the crew left for the Covenant mission. The weapons hidden inside synthetic animals in the novelization could be ridiculous on screen.
I can imagine that Alien: Awakening would be comprised of the content in the Origins novelization and the Engineer story Ridley Scott has spoke of. If the Engineers are disappointed in David's actions on Paradise then I can only assume that they will unleash something biological on David (and the humans) to shred him or use some sort of Engineer weapon we have yet to see.
Or, they could make David run a gauntlet made up of Engineers (that lost their cousin on Paradise) and beat him with sharp instruments, hammer-like objects, or with Walter's head.
I'm sure there will be some screen time showing someone chewed up by a xenomorph in Alien: Awakening.
We are not very far from some very scary stuff with this.
"David's mind state reminds me a lot of Giger's."
Yes, Lawrence of Arabia. David is totally immersed in his task before him and with a consistent aesthetic applied to his activities. Very good.
I hadn't seen the Giger example above Ati, amazing. Thank you.
"How do they know?" That's very funny Ati.

"he feels the tests are beneath him..."
I believe that is true Seph7. Especially after whatever Captain Oram saw before giving the synthetic a look. Great observation.
i want to see Ash as a character. With today's technology I think it's possible to create Ash, just like how it did for Rachael in Blade Runner 2049.
Bishop didn't say that when trying to negotiate with Ripley in the movie...no confirmation (he doesn't say Queen) from the novelization either Ati.
The Alien 3 novelization does seem to confirm Ellen Ripley noticed this difference in the xenomorph in the scan, see below from page 244.
"Bishop II, she told herself numbly. Bishop Redux. Bishop to pawn four; Bishop takes Queen."

It is funny that Ripley referred to the human Bishop as Bishop II.

"deprive the company from access to the queen."
Michael Bishop's report on the Fiorina 161 incident, Weyland-Yutani Report, page 139.
This is pretty scary. I hope the "Q&A" are pre-planned.
The look on his face is very much a 'Really?' look...
It's almost as though he feels the tests are beneath him... 'I do really well at these things...'
Firstly, I'll address the so-called 'gay kiss'. My response would be; who cares???
Purely for a plot device, it was a distraction technique. Walter had never experienced kissing before, and being kissed by his counterpart was confusing to him, something David was hoping to exploit. It worked.
Secondly, in regards to AI emotions, I have my own theory. Now, this is in no way based in canon, and is purely my own take on things.
If we look at how babies develop, they are born with basic needs and instincts. It is only over time that they grow and develop, and for androids like Walter (and how David should have been allowed to develop), it is their experiences that shape them. It is through experience that we learn to understand the world around us and everything we associate with it. Who is to say that androids can't learn how to feel?
After reading Origins, I think that the engineers working on the Walter model were trying desperately to undo all the damage Weyland had done with David. One of those things I think was to give David far too much all at once, with no way of understanding them upon first being 'awoken'. Without time and experience, we can't fully comprehend the world. It takes time. Time David wasn't given. Time I think that Walter and his line will have, because the programmers gave them the ability to learn and grow slowly, as they were always supposed to.
Just my take on things...
Daniels was certainly the most developed, and so had the most background to relate to.
Purely after reading Origins, I can certainly appreciate Rosenthal more, and wish she'd been given more time on-screen.
Interesting. I always thought that before but this video confirms it. Thanks for sharing!"
I thought exactly the same thing when I stepped out of the cinema... I actually remarked to a friend that David had 'Hannibal Lecter level psychopathy'...
According to IMDB, the sequel is already in pre-production...
Apart from Walter, I want to see more of the Engineers and their ways, and how they deal with learning of their colony's destruction from their own pathogen...
Well, one could make a case that David is Hitler's Aryan dream? The Teutonic Robotic Prince of the Power of the Air!!!
I preferred Karin because she was still caring in a desperate time. I like Daniels as second. I think what made me dislike Faris was when she shut the door on Karin even though she also was exposed to the contaminate directly. I don't really feel any attachment to Rosenthal because she didn't really stand out to me in the movie.
If memory serves, he was Head of Life Sciences on the Covenant. He would naturally be extremely fascinated by the egg. Having not seen the 1979 movie, as drucea says, curiosity just got the better of him. Imagine if Neil Armstrong had stepped off the ladder and said "That's one small step for a man, one giant... WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING BITING MY ANKLE!"
Neuromancer has to be my all time favourite novel. I've read it quite a few times. I was a bit flummoxed on the first reading because it introduces so many buzz words and unfamiliar concepts, but on a second reading where you actually understand what it's all about, it's a terrific read.
I met Gibson in London in 2014, where he did a Q&A session. Very smart guy. He can bullshit, though! I read an article of his once where he said that parts of Neuromancer were tongue-in-cheek. I could find no such evidence myself (it's all deadly serious) and he struggled to give me an answer when challenged!
Awesome! Sydney you say.....I'll look into this. I would like to check this out. Thanks for the share :-)
IRAPTUS - Oh, gosh! That is so very kind of you! You did not have to do that, my friend! :)
In the spirit of things, I have featured it for you too :-)
I hope everyone can enjoy and admire your work
Welcome Alliecaulfield
if it the image dk has posted, Ati's thread here has the answers you seek. That would certainly be an interesting twist to Davids sanctum if there is a link.
IRAPTUS - You are very welcome, my friend! I am quite pleased you enjoyed this piece! :)
Oh this? Yes, this has been discussed before but I do not recall a Hitler reference.

Great job and thank you Something Real!!! That is amazingly cool
