Chris - :) More girls, more T-shirts, more words:

BigDave - I have just realised that the topic sentence and the 'T-shirt info' form a full sentence:
'When you suddenly spot the Xenomorph at your Sci-fi bookstore, blow it.'
It was not intentional, sorry... :)
That T-shirt lol but sweet display! Would love to see that or even own it.
Ha Ha love it
Nice Catch... should call you Sherlock ;)
Thanks for finding this out for us ;)
Fingers crossed... i think a lot depend on the aftermath/fall out of AC and if FOX reconsider changes.... this would no doubt delay the process.
I think they should stick to their guns with the plans they had before the reception of AC got, we already saw FOX/RS bow out and give in to what it thought Fans wanted XENOMORPHS...
I just hope they dont see the Engineers and David as being less important than the Xenomorphs and making a connection to Ripley.
sounds interesting... i think i have to invest in the book earlier ;)
Back to the Concept though, i think its a interesting example, and i actually like it.
Very nice work... love it
Well, the original Blade Runner has this special place in my heart, and no matter how good Blade Runner 2049 might be it won't take its place. The good thing about Villeneuve is that it won't accept a bad script, maybe because he has penned some of his films, like "Incendies". I am afraid to say, but someone with an immaculate track record like Villeneuve might be looking down at the Alien franchise in the state it is today. I would say he should direct an Alien film but only after Ridley Scott redeems himself with a good one.
Thank you Ati. The morph is quite the impatient traveller.
I love the Vatican City image V I N E T I C U M.
Ingeniero - And what do you think about the girl's T-shirt? :D

Awesome Dark Nebula.
Yes I like this Ati.
Pretty sure it's David. Plus 20th-century fox shared this image on Alien fb page.

If I had to pick a movie that I could un watch, it would be the 2014 film "LUCY".
Absolutely Ati. A twisting, gnarly, scary soup of mean faces eating Engineers...bring it.
Ingeniero - 'Good plan MonsterZero.'
I think MonsterZero read 'rewatch' in the title. :)
Ingeniero - I was leaning towards David, but we did not know much about the movie in April.
'The Engineer pressure suits (dead Engineers below) offered the same protection from morph travel as the Weyland Industries gear.'
A beautiful sentence! - :D :D
My pleasure Ati. Months ago I was leaning towards Walter.
Oh yeah Tiwaz.
I believe the Alien: Covenant movie poster gives a keyhole view of the killing described in the opening of the prequel novel.
Ingeniero - We'll see it on screen, I'm sure.
Ingeniero - Thank you for finding the answer to this mystery. :)
Thank you Ati. I believe the vision depicts something from later in the story.
I say this because Planet 4 Engineers were digested by a swarm opposed to organisms.
"The proponents of the interminable slaughter could never be sated. They killed and would keep killing until nothing remained that could be called a victim."
Alien: Covenant Origins, page 8.
Well, Ingeniero. My picture was on a bigger scale. Streets of blood, bodyparts everywhere, pure carnage.
Of course everyone would think "Xenomorphs" but if I'm not mistaken the book doesn't tell who or what exactly is causing the bloodshed. In theory it could also be an Engineer strike force or something/someone else entirely.
The visions are also said to take place on earth.
Ingeniero - 'Wouldn't it be nice to have a surprise Alien announcement at the Blade Runner 2049 premiere?'
Yes, it would! :D
I'm sure there will be an announcement about the AU at the end of October.
Ingeniero - Awesome! :D
As for the vision, it describes the Planet 4 Engineers' death or it is something from the last chapter of the prequels, what do you think?
You won't have to Cerulean Blue.

The Engineer was upset that someone commercialized the natural spring that the Romans had used thousands of years before and decided to give his input to Mr. Weyland on the acquisition.
'Should Denis Villeneuve direct the next Alien movie?'
No, he shouldn't.
The next and final chapter(s) of the prequels will be directed by Scott, I hope.
Of course Villeneuve can work in the AU after that or on other Alien stories at the same time.
Big things come from small beginnings Cerulean Blue.
Right now the evidence is very small but we can dream that it will become a very big thing.

I'm still holding on to the Ridley Scott "14 months" quote (above).
14 months is approximately the time from the end of filming Alien: Covenant to December of this year (the original opening date for Alien: Covenant).
I love Perrier! I hope Weyland does not mess it up, or I will have an Engineer rip his head off!!
I will love to see anything soon about the next film, or better yet....films!
To answer the opening topic...I'm not ready to give up on Ridley Scott yet. Tiwaz makes a great point about visuals and foggy story but I'm leaning towards liking the approach from Ridley Scott a whole lot.
I'm a Ridley Scott fan. Not only his work but also the Scott Free Productions for TV such as Numb3rs. Love his stuff.
That being said Tiwaz. I can only imagine how wonderful the story could be during the next solar sail recharge if Tarantino was directing.
Bob Forster would be great a target for a facehugger after some tough guy dialogue. And there would be plenty of room for Bruce Willis to smoke in the story before and after shooting John Travolta.
Yes Tiwaz.
When I read the beginning of the prequel novel, the "vision" seen reminded me of the image below.

The only other movie from Vilneuve I know is Arrival. It was good and had some nice ideas in it.
I'm usually not giving much bout reviews. They're a hint for something at best.
TBH I think someone but Scott should take over, with Ridley being an advisor for visuals and style. Because he still excels with visuals but not so much with "lost plots" and storytelling.
Just had a thought, how bout Tarantino? Pulp Fiction in space. hehe But seriously, I wonder what he'd do with it.
I didn't think the game was that bad. As long as you don't try to find glitches, the game isn't too bad. the variety of weapons, aliens, and missions allowed for decent gameplay. The only problem I see is because of the passage of time and the stigma the game has against it, the multiplayer, which for completionists is a requirement, is utterly useless. If you don't enjoy the game that's your opinion your opinion, but if its for petty reasons like 1 or 2 glitches, then you have to learn to keep an open mind.
