Thanks Big Proto-P! I only recently heard the news of an acutal bona fide ALIEN prequel and I have high hopes as Ridley Scott and the venerable Godfather of ALIEN H.R. Giger are involved in the film. Any word on movie trailers coming our way? Thanks! V.A.

Trailers won't be released for a while, hopefully we can get some teasers up near 2012, but I doubt we'll see any until a month or so before the movie is set for release, so probably May, 2012. Unless one leaks out early, but Prometheus-Movie.com will keep an eye out for it. You can count on that.

Hello all! 44/M/USA.NH. Can't wait for this movie and some insight on the space jockey. The apperance of this "thing" in Alien really made me wonder it's origins and how it fell victim of the Aliens. Looking forward to new set news and hopefull some picture stills.

Hello everyone, just stumbled on this while Googling' 'Prometheus' - looking great to me! Only 12 months away for this big event. I hope for some great discussion here in the meantime.

Well as far as the prequel thing is concerned if the space jockey technology incorporates time travel through wormholes it won't matter if its a prequel or sequel. Looking forward to seeing the space jockey universe and future human universe collide. Two things I am wondering is if they will treat the aliens like bugs on a bug hunt and if the derelict structure is part factory and not an infestation. Everybody is going to go nuts when the trailer comes out, even if there are no Predators.

Thought I would sign up here, bit slow at the moment. An acquaintence of mine has been to the set for this and was a press meet with Ridley. Apparently he is going all out Avatar style on this film. Not the in the creative sense I mean this is his sci-fi epic.
