I can clearly see Noomi Rapace!

And that is the derelict! 100%. To me it looks like its either dispatching from something bigger, or crashing out of a worm hole...or something like that anyway.

MemberOvomorph11/23/2011Quick Note....
Did anyone notice in the flame thrower scene that there is some creature running from it???? (thinking it could be a traditional alien)
(it's to the very right of the screen and right of where the furtherest point the flame thrower reaches, it's only a for a split second.... i didn't trying investigate it as i didn't download the trailer when it was up)
Can someone verify this??? (or am I just seeing things...)

MemberOvomorph11/23/2011@Paddy101 Nope! You're not mad, I can see it to. Like you said just for a fraction of a second, maybe two frames? But its definitely something. Plus I remember reading a description online of the comic-con video, and that clearly stated that a Xeno was spotted being flamed.

MemberOvomorph11/23/2011to be honest i see a two legged thing moving against the guy... and the posture of the guy is of someone that is retreating .

MemberOvomorph11/23/2011Regarding the flame thrower scene...even with those still images I still can't see anything. How can you guys make out a Xeno, or a two legged creature, or anything at all? I know I'm asking for a lot but can someone please highlight/outline the xeno figure in the flame thrower still? Make it real obvious for us blind people :)

MemberOvomorph11/23/2011i admit that im one of the blind guys but in this scene played in slow motion ive clearly the impression of something advancing from the dark toward the man ..and my impression is that it have a walk abit like the fly in the cronenberg movie

Frantz
MemberOvomorph11/23/2011and watch the black line on the ground ..is not the light that show the "target" but is something advancing ..
also the stance of the guy is of someone defending himself ...

MemberOvomorph11/23/2011by the time you guys get done you won't even need to see the film, you'll know it inside out backwards and forwards and in total before it's even released...lol.

Veteran MemberMemberOvomorph11/27/2011Pretty interesting trailer huh? Although, I have to say…while watching it, I felt kind of like “Gorman” in ALIENS, watching the ambush on Acheron/LV-426 on the APC monitors. It’s pretty frustrating to watch…but better than nothing. What is apparent is to me…is that Sir Ridley seems to have imbued this film with the very artistic and visual quality that is his signature.
This is just the kind of thing I was hoping for. Even with screen reflections, distortions, grain, and poor sound quality…I could still make out the grand imagery and atmosphere in this pirate trailer. And even though PROMETHEUS is probably not the obvious ALIEN prequel most of us were anticipating a couple of years ago, it looks like it’s going to be something very special, complimentary, and a worthy companion piece…to the original ALIEN masterpiece we all share a love for. Totally pumped!

P.S. I felt a slight chill when I heard the old school music from the 1979 ALIEN trailer. Yes!

The mans neck is way larger than it should be, perhaps he is infested and being changed
(I smell homage to the deleted cocoon scene in alien)
I have always been terrified of things that dissolve or absorb people.
*the blob, that black shit in the movie Creepshow 2*
Christ even "cell" from Dragon ball z freaked the shit out of me as a kid when he did that thing with the tail.
I think Ridley is going to expand on that fear, it is not a common sight.
