Tom Rothman: Heartbroken over Leaked Trailer

He's overplaying this somewhat: I suspect even this crappy-quality leak has done more to crank up excitement than harm.

Yeah...he is out to make himself look good. I mean he has too..Scott has no respect for him as i imagine some others well...he is not getting any sympathy from me....Mr.PG13 instead of R...ugh....

i feel his pain the integrity of this thing is obviously important to everyone involved.

I dont like Rothman but I do care about the integrity of the film but we live in the internet age where everyone has a cell phone camera. It's hard to keep things under wraps these days with tech being every where...

I hear ya and I agree. still, he just seemed to want us to see the preview as the best preview it can be. I can't knock him for that...with all the piracy out there and all, it also had to have been someone close to people in the room in which the trailer was shown that leaked it because that leaked file seemed to be shot with a handheld video camera off of a wall, and the guy had to have had access to the trailer itself or a proposed trailer at least to do that. I.O.W. it was someone on the inside that leaked it.

We should make a no spoiler contract, sign it and you are forbidden to talk or look at any images regarding the movie....though, I would fail in this contract agreement...lol..but I am keeping low key and hoping the trailer will come in a few weeks.

Crocodile tears lol - he's probably loving the free hype the films been getting and the overwhelming positive response from fans. Put it like this, Amazing Spiderman and John Carter have been cocked into a hat after the Prometheus "leak". Their trailers concept art pales into comparison against Ridley's original vision. Keep crying Rothman...all the way to the bank :)
