im italian :p btw it seems that everyone ( cast , director ) belive in this movie more that the normal facade optmism ... the trailer ( even in crappy quality ) was totally awesome someone said that the image of the guy tryng the flamethrower with the horn as soudtrack was the best movie scene of the year ....i agree .

in an interview today Noomi hinted at a possibility of a sequel .. And Digital Spy asked Rapace if she believes there's enough for Prometheus to have any sequels, to which she replies coyly: "Yeah... maybe" Remember that FOX usaully planned a movie to reboot tha alien franchise directed by Carl Rinsch ... before of course they rerouted over Scott ....then with Spaihts they planned to make 2 Prequels ...and we still dont know if they have abbandoned the idea .

This is getting very Silly. And by silly I mean amazing. :-P

Frantz: You know FOX will make a sequel pending on how much money they line their pockets with the income....if it is a success, then they will though I wonder if Scott will pursue or leave it like Cameron departed Terminator 2? Also, Scott is up there in age but still looks strong.... The marketing on this movie will be viral as we approach June...start small and then ramp it up and make people get wet at the lips...

Looks to me that the scope of Prometheus is much more than Alien, which to me, was a monster, horror movie, with a science fiction background. Now he's getting into the philosophical questions that science fiction can be so good for doing, though it's going to still be a very scary ride I think!

This film is a 200 million dollar project, so yeah, I think it is going to be bigger than Alien...epic in scope...scot't's master piece hopefully...

I agree Cain, this will hopefully be Scott's greatest film. I hope it does not disappoint. Of course when you get down to it even if it is Epic, someone is going to complain.

I have said this before and I will more than likely have to say it again...sorry...but... we are talking about a project created by H R Giger and Ridely The Man Scott !!! Stop speculating, There is Nothing to speculate, this film c a n n o t f a i l When all is said and done we are going to be discussing what is in all likelihood the single most important science fiction film next to 2001: A Space Odyssey ever made!!! And from the looks of just the damn leaked trailer alone with crappy focus on a cam this thing already looks like the single greatest action/adventure movie of all time. This Ridely Scott we are talking about who has had to endure, over the course of the past 10 years so much unfair and bloody vindictive critisism about how over rated he is or how he hasn't made a great film is so many years and bla bla bla bla bla, and this piece here is 100% going to be his "STICKING IT" to everyone who even suggested he was not capable of pulling this off, let alone, surpass and exceed expectations by leaps and frikking bounds. Folks what I am saying is this, get this dumb idea of this thing even possibly failing in the slightest way, out of your head, cause it can't...period...it is going down as one of the most exciting and entertaining films ever made...So Just Stop It !!! and watch this again, if you know anything at all about this genre you can easily tell from this crappy hand held garbage just how much better this movie this is going to be than anything that has been released by anyone in maybe the past 33 years since these 2 guys did this the first time!!! Wake up, this is not just "some movie" we are all waiting on... ...this is cinematic history being made and witnessed by us first hand!!! And let me tell you...watching that trailer one more time and yet again, and hearing Charleze Theoron screaming as some sinister entity is obviously ripping her to shreds and keeping her alive while it does it, is remarkable even for crappy cam footage with bad audio and I get a chill right down to my very toes even watching it in this crappy condition. No one can convince me even in the slightest that this thing isn't going to ROCK HOLLYWOOD to it's very CORE and perhaps change the manner in which science fiction is looked at and created for the rest of time!!! Fox knows one thing a lot of people here do not seem to get yet... They ARE SITTTING ON CELULOID GOLD...PURE CELULOID GOLD !!!
