Question; can anyone tell me what the object in the picture is...?...
If so, and you do get it right, it will be "Your Turn" to ask everyone some kind of Science Fiction or related Movie question...
perhaps we can use media like pictures as well to spice it up for fun.
Anyways I am going first...what's that in the picture?

Ok, here's the deal...
Engineer Prototype - Model GAJ84
what is the name of electronic science you are talking about?
In other words you are close to being right but I was looking for 1 word to describe how they do that. and still need 4 more.
Thadus12
In your first guess one of your answers is correct.
In your 2nd guess you got one right on the money and one you are closing in on fast, looking for a one word electronic science which is really mostly used for film making and is very closely related to your answer.
Neurion
You have 3 answers dead bang on the Money , one for which I was looking for the electronic scientific word for and 1 wrong.
OMG I am in shock at how quickly and how close you guys are to getting them all.

Thadus 12December 08, 2011
3. Bluescreen
Of the 5 answers me and Nurion have 3 identical answers, but you say i only have 2 correct while he has 3?

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
You are right my bad I will clarify For him also "Mo-Motion" is wrong, close but wrong, and so is stop go animation, but in order to do both a one word scientific craft is used and was used, it is an electronic concept if you will and the official name of the electronic scientific art from I am looking for.
My bad.

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
No but fantastic guess and you're on the right track, and some one said a word that should give you the answer outright..also..."papier Mache" and "that other word" I mentioned are very very closely related to the actual 1 word answer. and again, it is an electricaly based film technque involving those things..

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
Ok here are the correct answers I have received so far so all you have to do is write a new answer with these 3 in there and guesses for the 2 others and you got yourself at least a share of the points.
-Tasha Y'ar is correct
-Milk is correct
-Cardboard is correct
2 left unsolved.
1 guess is so close on one of them it's sick,
and the other is a composer apparently no one here even knew about.
LOL

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
No,
No,
& No
LMAO
But since you're trying so hard I will give you a Major hint.
1 word,
electronic process,
Starts with the letter "A"
and this clue should give it to you flat out...
"Puppetry" is a HUGE part of this.

Here's s a special clue to the last question.
Howard Hanson wrote the original symphony used, but this man, re did his work, re-conducted it if you will and was primarily a producer-arranger-conductor, and got praised up the "ying yang" for doing it by Hanson himself, Hanson even liked his version far more, and it was this mans Composition that was actually used in both the Final scene and in the credits as the film ended.
Scott referred to the name of the section he used for it on the DVD commentary for the film..as "Anita" ot "Tunita" it's hard to make out, but the credit for the composition has to go to this man.

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
Funny{for me} & Great answer and you do deserve all the points so here are the man's Initials..."C" . "G".

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
OK Thadus12 Looks Like you've had enough, The Guys name is Charles Gerhardt.
I got the last question to gain control, "hospital orderly", and stumped everyone on 1 of the 5 questions so I am giving myself 2 points ttl. Neurion got 3 of them right off the bat so he gets 3 points, and Thadus12 you answered 3 perfectly so that gives you 3 pts plus you get more 1 bonus pt. for trying so damn hard.

O.K. an easier question...
What two films did John Hurt work on before Alien ( in terms of release dates)
what characters did he play? and what did the two films have in common?
A point for each

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
The Voice of Aragorn In Lord Of The Rings
And The Voice of Hazel In Watership Down
Both were animated films as well I believe made in 1978.

Thadus 12December 08, 2011
Great! all present and correct I know,I know too easy for you
Go easy Spart' ,I cant handle another 5 part mindbender

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
OK,
easy one
As opposed to the aliens in the first two movies which fed on food supplies that they could find and that were also suitable for human beings, the Runner ate his victims with ferocious appetite and ate almost each and every one of them. Many insects and some arachnids eat only living or freshly killed food and are carnivorous only.
It also slept in the cellar with maggots and spiders.
In Alien 3 it's the first time an alien is referred to as WHAT?

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
that answer is incorrect...although it was the first time I heard that word too, and it's great and I will give you the point for it if you insist... there was another word from what I posted, that's the word I am looking for...

SpartacusDecember 08, 2011
No, No, & No...think...what is the nature of which the little paragraph I wrote in and of itself....hahahah I sound like Hannibal Lector.

WooHoo I win...
Okay, don't know if this will stump you guys but heres goes, two points on offer...
In one of the Alien films one of the characters utters just one word to our titular heroine Rilpey. What word was spoken and by whom?
P.S. This is not available in the DVD cuts, Blu-Ray I don't know, but it was available on the video and cinema release (yet strangly enough not the theathrical release on the DVD, go figure).
