Who or what is that?

Ok i posted something about this earlier today in one of the threads about the trailer descriptions...i have a burning question and I am surprised that I cannot seem to find anyone referring to it on the forums...@ around 00:29 into the leaked trailer their is a short scene where something or someone is reaching out and picks up what looks like a vial...anyone have any ideas....cause to me it looks like a primate...half ape half man....or perhaps i am seeing wrong because of the poor quality?....but still I am very curious.
