Dec 12th Trailer Release

I'm still humming the Total Awesomnous of the Totally Awesome score/theme song in my head from the Totally Awesome thing I have come to know as the ... ..."It's so unfair it was leaked I am a cry baby exec @ Fox Test Trailer from The Earl Early Early Early Early Stages of the films development". {yea...right} LMAO.

I love the music in that trailer...it's just a teaser tho and i fear they might drop it with future more elaborate official close to release trailers.....i hope they don't....i am loving it.......kinda 9 inch nails meets depeche mode meets a crazy symphony and it just gives the trailer that extra oomph....it interacts so well with the visuals and that part where it goes silent and the woman (propably Rapace) screams "PLEASE!!!" and then it returns......(that is what she screams right?).....well that part always gives me goose flesh!

Hmmm...that's strange, as it was included amongst a few other 'Prometheus' stills at this link here - http://area51comics.com/2011/07/21/prometheus-movie-still/ I'll edit it out of my previous post if you or anyone else says what movie it's actually from then, as I don't recognise it... Uffa... How exciting, I can't wait, in the past two weeks the first things I did in the morning was to check my email, check apple/trailers and then check www.prometheus-movie.com

Cervantes - The woman in the white spacesuit is not from Prometheus, its from a different film!

Roll on the 12th! Looking forward to seeing a clearer version of the teaser, to see the proper colour of everything, and hear that ominous music better! Can't wait to see how this teaser plays on the big screen...in 3D... :) In the meantime, someone's stuck a version of the crap-o-vision 'leaked' one up again. [i]EDIT: I've now deleted the 'leaked' shot showing a female in a white spacesuit I added here, as it seems it was wrongly attributed to this movie after all.[/i]

its from a tv documentary about science fiction ..there are other photos of that woman ( that is not rapace ) dressing for the show ...btw is not prometheus

@Cervantes I agree that that poster may be a fake, but I'm sure the (or at least one of) the official movie posters will look identical.

Thanks for the further clarification Frantz, and I wonder what that 'sci-fi' tv documentary was called... I also wonder why that spacesuit shot was included amongst the other 'Prometheus'-related shots on that site? Anyway, I've removed it from my first post above to avoid confusion.

This could only get better if the soundtrack was made by Nine Inch Nails i have to say. I wish Ridley Scott would realize that he should drop Hans Zimmer for Trent Reznor.

I am from Montreal and Nine Inch Nails has a big following here, Fantastically creative Band, but IMO that Background Score was too good, even for Them...!!! P.S. I also Absolutely Loved Hans Zimmer's score for "Black Rain", which was, incidently, directed by none other than Ridley Scott!

Did I hear mention of Trent Reznor/Nine Inch Nails, he and Giger are by two top creative influences ever, big shame MTR is not doing the score, his melancholy distorted antagonisms and beautiful touching melodies would be perfectly suited alongside Giger and Scott in an "Alien" movie. Squeeze Clive Barker into the mix and I'll be ecstatic lol.
