That was concept art for an Alien game called Crucible that was never made.
I can't remember the name, but it has some pretty cool concept art attached. I think it'd look cool as a Xeno/Jockey though.

................... and what's to say that previous art work from film, games, comics, etc won't be used for the concept of much larger xeno we will see in Prometheus .....................

@BellaLikesAlien I totally agree. Frankly I really like the design, and we have been promised a "bigger, more fearsome beast" in Prometheus.

Looks good. How does it fit in to the score? Can't see it.

As Snorklebottom already stated gang - this infact a final concept sketch for the 'Rhino Xeno' for the upcoming 'Colonial Marines' game for the XBOX 360 and PS3.

Too beast like. I like my Aliens spindley and less muscular. The more animal or Dinosaur like the less creepy and weird. Thats my preference and to each his/her own though...

You´re right; PUGUGLY It´s equipped with only two snorkles to fart. Furthermore this Alien would be inapprpriate in its dimensions to survive in an environment designed by and for humans- what if it comes to damage an airlock. Oh, I just forgot it wouldn´t by instinct..
Furthermore, it looks like it is equipped with even a pair of spines... one crossing right through the centre of torso and the other one obviously ontop of corselet...
what the heck; when I see it, I´m apt to seduce it or I´d try to detach that corselet with some laser beams.
Otherwise I´d try to pitch it under a sarrasin, just as in that StarWars (C) Movie.
P.S.: Rancor Beasts would win every beaty contest with that; at least them have eyes.

P.S. It might however be cool in a sequel to "Galaxy Quest"
