ok since everyone shoot theories i will do too ..but since im a private investigator ( totally false ) i will throw in some evidences !! beware !! SPOILERS AHEAD !! ( maybe or maybe not ) 1) Halloway is Infected in the Ampule room [img]http://img857.imageshack.us/img857/8674/71465321.jpg[/img] 2) All seems fine ...and he have sex with his girlfried Shaw ( who is bruised by the dust cloud ) ... he feel that something is not good [img]http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/3231/49682407.jpg[/img] 3) he slowly mutate ... ( hes on a wheelchair ) but also shaw get sick and host something horrible ... of which she gave birth ...she go for help ... [img]http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/9348/78325858.jpg[/img] 4) you see that Logan green resemble very much our guy [img]http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/121/37862003.jpg[/img] [img]http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/47/68889944.jpg[/img] 5) in an act of self sacrifice ..the now infected Halloway ( infected by the aliens of course but that is another story ) remain there to send a warning ..while the other crew escape ...he know he will die of chestbusting ...that end will link the movie to alien is a FACT FACT FACT !!! ( lol )

i want to question some of the implications of your theory. for example, where do the eggs come from? do you say scott brings cameron's idea of the queen into play? if so, why lay the eggs neatly into the stasis field? wouldn't it be all over the place?

I bet a lot of what Frantz wrote is correct, maybe not the whole thing but for sure some of it has to be !!! The PIcs are awesome and it is very well presented also, I give him an A+ overall for the work, blood, sweat, and raw effort that went into posting that. Do I get some "Brownie Points" for that Frantz?

of course walter i can be TOTALLY off target but insted to shoot a theory up in the air i try to give some evidence of it ,,and of course if i nail part of the story that dont mean ive to know all the rest too If to support my theory regarding a limited part of the plot ive to invent all the answers it would be pretty lame and a bad service to the community ..what i present here is what happen to halloway for what i saw until ans simple thinking like >>Shaw pregnat of something strange THEN the boyfriend have something strange<< ..and when i see that halloway got infected then the link is evident .... But is also possible that is totally different Spartacus relactionships downgraded from "deep hate" to " subtle hating " ( joking of course :D )

I agree with most of the idea Frantz, and I've actually had a similar theory in mind myself. The only thing that I'm having trouble putting together is that the female entering the sickbay has "unattended" wounds on her back, suggesting she has been attacked (possibly sexually- as Scott said the antagonists would do perverse things?), and NOT that her wounds came from being thrown about in a sandstorm, because they would be bandaged. For me, that image is reminiscent of Ripley in Alien 3, when she enters the canteen screaming "It's here, it's HERE!" I still think the pregnant female in the trailer is NOT Shaw, or in the very least if it is, she survives the "delivery". She is too big of a character to die before the end of the film.

I don't think Halloway is the only member infected. Maybe the first, but not the only one. He may be the culprit in that particular case, but I doubt he's the only one. Besides, the bedroom scene may just be to establish the relationship for the audience, and the attack comes later, after Halloway has had time to mutate further?

surely Halloway is not the mutant with the beard we have saw in two scenes , so yes there must be another one . Anyway the two seems to mutate in a different way .
