Who speaks in the beginning of the trailer?....I think it is Vickers....she realizes that the company and herself made a really bad decision and then she says that line. ...why would Shaw say that ?....she is the believer....the good girl...what could she have possibly said or done that was so wrong?

That's not what she says.. "I was wrong.. we were so wrong!" I take that to mean that what they found was most decidedly NOT what they thought they would find, and that they opened up a serious can of worms. Hence the "I'm so sorry". As for who's speaking, just listen to the accent.. it's definitely Noomi Rapace's voice. The voice yelling "Prometheus" in the background sounds much more like Charlize Theron.

@ Jockey Makes sense...have not seen girl with the dragon Tattoo yet...so I am not familiar with her voice......I could hear someone saying something in the very beginning tho...could never make it out...u reckon it is Charlize yelling..."prometheus"....interesting...

one other thing....i did not really pick up an accent....but bare in mind that English is not Charlize's first language....she is from South Africa (like myself) and her first language is Afrikaans...(also my first language)....i can pick up a very slight accent whenever i hear her speak...tho anyone whom is not from this country will hardly notice....translated to afrikaans... "I was wrong.. we were so wrong!......"i'm so sorry" "ek was verkeerd...ons was almal so verkeerd!....ek is so jammer!"..... Those who speak Dutch or German might understand the language to a degree..

If you listen very closely...I believe you can here the following...Now I will write chrologically, everything I've heard from both voices and I will separate voices with the use of qoutation marks... "You have to understand"..."come in...come in...we need to"..."I was wrong...we were so wrong......and I'm so sorry." Now I tend to agree with Jockey2016, the first and third set of qoutes are from the mouth of Noomi Rapace. The second set? I'm not sure who that is...we'll just have to wait and see.

This wait is hard....I mean, I am dieing my friend a very slow death...'Alien' is my all time favorite film and I've been waiting some fifteen plus years for Ridley to arrive on his white horse and save us from the likes of he ignorant studio execs who so quickly dragged his world through the mud. Maybe it's silly, but this movie, just the attempt means a lot to me...and I can't believe it's actually happening.

The thought of that message travelling across eons of time and space really send shivers up my spine. I like the idea too of it being the message the Nostromo crew receive albeit garbled and coded, but it may not be the case, at least not in this film, assuming a further installment is in the works which may tie in with Alien.
