There has to be a tomb in this film, if, as rumoured, the running time is going to be 3 hours plus, then Ridley will want to revisit his desire for a pyramid. When he made Alien he had a choice, deralict or Pyramid. He said at the time "...I would love to have shot it, but the more I thought about it the more I realized it would be three-hour version. What cracked it was the budget...". Well he's got the budget and the running time! Another tantelizer is Geiger's hieroglyphics which detailed the Alien's life cycle. It is rumoured, another one, Geiger has put some early work into wall-art design. If the pyramid had been featured, in Alien, this panel was intended for use. As it was there just wasn't room anywhere in the confines of Alien for it to appear. This time will be different, it has been well publicised, that although very pleased with Alien, Ridley really wanted that elusive extra money and time to give a complete story.
