Yup....in the article, they spoke with Scott and they are using some of Prometheus in the game, with the use of the derelict ship as stated....so we have a year to see that now or maybe it will get a sooner release but time will tell.

I'm going to pre-order the game. I so love Aliens, I saw the brief walk through on youtube and it looks awesome

It certainly does look promising. I think that they are making up for the disappointment of AVP. Plus, you can drive a power loader...

It would be really cool if they did a Special Edition where the game in a Derelict ship scale model....that would be beyond awesome!

thats such a long time away...it looks cool with the exception of that bull alien..come on sega just get all you need from the movie and refrain from cheap gimmicks...also lets hope this alien game will be better than all the other crappy alien titles that have come out

@20thcenturybuick Trust me, 2013 is a lot closer than you think, baring that they don't delay the game again. Gameinformer first advertised this game on their cover in the March 2008 issue. I know because I still have the issue. I, and I am sure a lot more people, have been waiting a long time for this game. Hopefully they don't delay anymore. It was supposed to come out this spring but now I guess next year. The game does look great and with all the delays, hopefully it becomes a great one!

seriously looking forward to this game. I dont play many games regularly but this is one IP that i'll jump back on a console for. aliens has to be the most influential film when it comes to first person shooter games. I even read that the original doom engine was developped with the intention of ID doing an aliens licensed game :)

Damn, I'm REALLY looking forward to this game but Jan 2013.... -____- I've been following this games development and last time I checked it was out for a release in March of 2012. Its a shame they changed it AGAIN. HUH..I JUST checked Amazon and the release date is for March 31st 2012. Are you sure about that 2013 date?

2013 is a ridiculously far away...i thnk gta5 is slated to come out before then..but anyways im wary of this title because gearbox did an awful job on duke nukem and they delayed the shit out of that...but yeah the game looks pretty great despite the voice acting and that gimmicky bull alien...they should stick really close to aliens and not make up dumb shit...they should have the same music and everything

I'm looking forward to this game a lot. I just hope they really EXPAND on the game play and really go into areas that we really haven't explored before. I hope the storyline isn't too damn short like almost every game nowadays is. Everything is rushed out the door just to make a quick profit. Game makers will focus too much on the look of everything without expanding on the gameplay. The length of the game is sacrificed for graphics and simple "looks". Thats whats ruined a lot of games today. Money, money and money man, its whats destroying potentially great films and video games today.

Game Stop gave me a list of gavel coming out and they have Aliens on there for Jan 2013 but once again, it may not be certain. I read as well it was supposed to come out in the Spring but we shall see....

Awesome....that is weird that game stop had it on the list for Jan 2013 but hey better news now....going to be awesome. We will all need to place our gaming screen names on here...for PS3 and Xbox....and have some online fun.

That looks GOD DAMN BEAUTIFUL!! I cannot wait anymore until this game comes out. We will have to be sure to give each other's gamertag's out so we can play with each other online when it is released.

That may actually be more "official" than we think - the originator of the article which featured that image and specs was removed at request of Sega, but it was too late and the image went viral. Just my 2 cents. Either way it looks great! And about the 2013 release, doubtful. I still bet it's 2012.

Yeah I agree with you BugHunter. Plus it would make sense that Sega release it the year of Prometheus' release. It would make for a great double bill that way.

Honestly I'm unsure about this game, a xeno called a crusher?!? It looks good graphically, but I'll wait to see what CVG say about it.
