Ripley Clone 8 is offering to do people GIF's from footage from the Alien Franchise. If your interested visit his thread [url=http://www.prometheus-movie.com/community/forums/topic/1222#12498]HERE[/url] and ask him for one If, when Ripley Clone 8 has done you your GIF, when you paste the address he gives you into your profile pic URL field it doesn't work, then try how I got mine to work... - select and copy (Ctrl + C) the address RC8 sent you. - open a new tab in your browser and paste (Ctrl + V) into the address bar - when the page loads up, right click the GIF and select "Copy Image URL" - go to your profile, make sure the URL field is empty and paste (Ctrl + V) Voila, that should work.

Is there a profile pic size restriction? Does the site auto size for profile pics?

i did this and it worked yesterday. however, today the image no longer worked. I repeated the procedure and it worked again, but with a different URL. does the hosting site change it's url's periodically? does the simple original link URL work for anyone?

I suggest people make a free account on PhotoBucket, I've always used them and it's very easy to upload and have a direct link to your images. Once you upload an image to PhotoBucket, under the image you'll have a selection of links to that image, you want "DIRECT LINK" and then post that in your profiles. I'm noticing some people's pics still aren't displaying. Try this method if you're having problems.

I can upload everyone's GIF image to Photobucket from now on. The only reason why I opted out to do that is because sometimes Photobucket REALLY shrinks down GIF images sometimes but it shouldn't be a problem. Thanks for the suggestion BugHunter!
