MemberOvomorph01/26/2012Hi Guys, well is certainly not a novelty that films of the franchise of Alien served as an inspiration for comics, video games and movies. in this case my topic is addressed to the miniatures strategy game set in a dystopian future, specifically referring to the faction of the Tyranids, a race of insectoids.
The similarity with the xenomorphs is obvious and IMHO much more strong that in the case of the zerg of starcraft, and you can notice it in these pictures:

MemberXenomorph01/26/2012Hey Sham,
Your thread is fixed. I agree to a point, I think the zerg is completely xeno'fied other than the snake like lower body. But there is only so much you can do to make a creature look xeno before you start falling into intellectual property infringement. But what you have here is definitely xeno'fied. Look at the lower faces totally xeno mouthed and then the skeletal ribcage is xeno as well. The armor throws it off though.
Regards,
Rick

MemberOvomorph01/26/2012Yes, I share your opinion, and in the future I'll have more careful to not violate the intellectual property... lol... is that I can not stand the desire to see this new movie from Scott... and I I've become something idle...
Best regards

MemberOvomorph02/7/2012@bigbirdjimmy Yes you're right, The Necron Lord it is very similar to General Grievous.

MemberOvomorph02/7/2012This is very interesting comparisons but...
I hope this would not be the basis of design for the movie
