What the hell is this?......

The Third Photo looks like a Ship With Mechanical Arms. No really Sure

Bingo! I was looking at this last night! I opened it in windows movie maker and put it on a loop, trying to figure out what it is. Whatever it is in the second image, it looks like it has pincers or something. There seems to be a helmeted thing at the bottom of the screen, perhaps a crew member, or maybe even the jockey. But whats that on the left? Im almost sure its a monster anyway! Maybe Ill make a gif out of it and post it for others to have at it!

It runs from the leaked trailer as shown, something jumps out of an opening (could be a mouth, egg, ampule) then appears to attach to someone. The last photo appears to be lots of tenticles from the footage.......

Very interesting, this isnt something I noticed before. Can't make out the first 2 pics very well but the 3rd certainly looks like tentacles/pincers.

Good job with the screen shots, BellaisanAlien! I enlarged with three photos and in one I saw two eyes maybe? My guess the 3 shots are showing whatever it is that melts the poor guy's helmet, enroute to doing that. I'd love to see more of these screen shots of the trailer - how about with the scene where the derelict is crashing and the women are running to get out of the way? Some of think there could be other things in that scene, like a building or faces in rocks and the hillside.

Honestly, I've been trying not to frequent the boards because I really want to be surprised for the movie but I can't help it! Back when these trailers were still roaming about there was a post about that same "eel-like" creature. It was obviously removed because it would have definitely given more information to the movie's monster(s). I'm really excited because when you watch the original Alien trailer you don't get a glimpse of the actual Alien; it was very well hidden. So who knows what we're going to get. I was looking at some of Giger's artwork and this one really caught my eye. The question is, how did it originate? I wouldn't be surprised if this comes off as a side-story within the movie, Prometheus doesn't seem like its mainly about the Alien's origin and thats what I'm most excited about.

its from the first leaked trailer.... in the trailer it appears just before the guys helmet dissolves but can't be 100% sure that it's linked.....

@pjr, could very well be a mouth, I'm thinking possibly the dead Engineer body we have seen in the Ampule / head room.

I think this is something well worth exploring here - nice work again, BellaisanAlien, now with the gif. Directly above your gif posting is a picture, posted by phnk, with a bunch of misty creatures which I think could well be what we're talking about in this thread!

Dear mother of God!! Whatever that thing is, it's intense.

If you look at the end of the gif you can see a human face (left of the image), I thought it was Holloway before his helmet melts. But now I'm thinking it is Shaw (perhaps leading to the alien pregnancy). The reason for this is I think the creature jumps from the head/egg/helmet that has Shaw and Someone else are examining next to the Engineer suit/body in the Ampule room (the light from the examination and the end of the gif is remarkably similar).....

This looks crazy.. It looks like a white xeno egg with a mouth. I hope they DON'T show this scene in the 'official' trailer. I'm glad to see a little gif here but I definitely don't want to see all of the new stuff before walking in the theater. A buddy of mine (and one of the few guys/gals I know locally who love Alien as much as I do) has said that he would refuse to watch the trailer, read any synopsis, so forth... He wants a blank experience walking into the theater. I'm starting to get to that point, but I'm still checking here ever couple of days despite that desire! Note: He finally caved and watched the trailer, and now is equally pumped as I am..
