MemberOvomorphFeb-25-2012 4:22 PMI made some screen captures of ALL the stuff that was included in the trailer's teasers, not the actual trailer itself. It includes new rooms and sets, and a closer look at the mutated "man" seen jumping off the vehicle at the end of the trailer. It also includes a shot from a 3 second clip of what looks like Noomi being thrown into fire, and also her being blasted with steam.

MemberOvomorphFeb-26-2012 9:21 AMHas anybody noticed... in the first link above there are several screen caps. One of them is Mr Scott talking to an actor who is obviously the guy who leaps off the trailer - mohawk, burnt face and so on.

Have you seen how tall that actor is!!!
Now... unless Edna Mode designed the space suit for him, and it stretches to size, I'd say that he is definitely NOT a member of the Prometheus crew that has "transformed" in any way.

the shot above which is flame coloured is the mohawk guy, scrambling up the side of the vehicle before running across the top and leaping off the other side

MemberOvomorphFeb-27-2012 6:04 PMThe 'steam' that Shaw is avoiding comes from the inner door to the Ampule room. Possible explanations I have come up with are;
1, A gaseous reaction between the atmosphere in the Ampule Room and that of that outside.
2, The exhaust of the mechanism that powers the door.
3, The possibility that it is actually steam from an actual geyser. There is evidence for this I think;
Shaw is standing just inside the inner 'gigerish' door, beyond that (a few metres) is the outer stone door. A few metres beyond that is the hole in the ground.
The hole is in a cavern which connects the Ampule room to the entrance tunnel of the other civilisation.
Steam exiting the geyser would hit the ceiling of the cavern and turn to water. The water would drip back and other a long period of time stalagmites would form and rivulets would be carved in the floor of the cavern as the water ran back down the hole. These are both apparent in that picture and there is even water in the rivulets.
