MemberOvomorphApr-02-2012 9:45 AMI was looking through the trailer and there were some INTERESTING things.
First of all, we all know about the freaky black circle hovering ship thingamajig thats over the waterfall, but in the international trailer, it shows it hovering a tad bit later in the sequence, and it appears there is a structure its over being hidden by the fog.

Could it be a temple, or a tomb? Who knows.
Okay, second thing. There was a brief flash of the below picture. In the US trailer someone could be heard yelling "CUT IT OFF!" Is this why?

Finally, we get to the most interesting part. Its a first-person shot of someone (probably Shaw) in the medical pod, laser scalpel thing above hovering ominously. Doe this validate the sequence shown in the US trailer? I think it does. She definetly has a c-section.

MemberOvomorphApr-02-2012 10:01 AMI'm still not sure what the first pic is. I mean its clearly a space craft, but is the structure under it just a rock-face or is it man/alien-made?
I do think the "CUT IT OFF!!!" scream is in reference to the second image. First time I heard that scream I immediately thought of that tentacle going into the guy's arm.
Third Image: Definitely a c-Section. (I believe the original leaked footage trailer show Shaw's belly rapidly expanding while she's lying on the same medical table.)

MemberDeaconApr-02-2012 10:43 AMThe first image could be from the cut scene in the movie that will be about the begining of Mankinds Time on Earth.
The 2nd is Proto Xeno Eel thingy, which i think either acts like face hugger and implants something in throat or indeed actually enters the victics throat instelf.
In one trailer there is a voice saying " its in my throat"
3rd does apear to be a C sections, the other angle shows that robot arm with Squidy Alien in it and a latter scene shows Shaw with her belly stappled back up.
The Imax one shows her trying to be held down by other members of the crew and she lashes out at them trying to escape, so some of the crew know she has something inside of her, or maybe they planted it in her or allowed her to get impregnanted by a embrio.

MemberOvomorphApr-02-2012 11:04 AMWho's to say that is Shaw on the table in THAT particular scene? ... could be Vickers as she's also in MedLab bandages in one scene ... she aint doing pressups ... I'll put a fiver on that ... :) ...

I've tried to figure out exactly who's arm this might be, I've looked at every photo I can find where you can see details of the different suits worn by the crew members, I can't find anything that looks quite like that.

MemberOvomorphApr-02-2012 12:57 PMMembrane hit the nail; I had seen photos of Dettifoss also and that black formations are almost certainly the rock wall and not a man (or alien) made structure.
In another photo, we can see a circular feature in the belly of the circular spacecraft. Who knows what it is.
I think the different designs could be a hint that we will see more than one alien civilizations in "Prometheus". The guys on board that thing seems to have a different design phylosophy than the SJ people...

MemberOvomorphApr-02-2012 1:10 PMYea, I'd say definitely the designs are from two different civilizations - one suggests a symmetrical-thinking species while the derelict is anything but.

1) We have that scene of someones legs, note the black fluid/sludge.
2) Then the scene of a Squidy held above Shaws head (you can tell its Shaw) same black substance and same clothes.
3) In Imax Trailer there is another close up of her face while on that med table and with a Squid like Organism in front of her face.
4) Another scene in same clothes shows her walking away but struggling she has to hold onto sides to keep her self up and you notice stapples in her, showing that she has been cut open and sticthed back up.
5) Another Scene in same clothes again, shows her drop down to her knees.
6) There is a Scene in same clothes where she is looking in mirror and praying, maybe she is in pain and its start of the whole process of the above scenes.
100% it is Shaw on that table.

What if that GIANT circular craft actually contains the entire temple complex and Jockey vessels are also housed within it??... ie: the other circular area seen in other photos.
And what if, the entire thing is now buried on the Blue Meanie world that Prometheus visits and the Jockey vessel seen is only emerging from one of the internal bays??

MemberDeaconApr-02-2012 3:55 PMI definately buy the idea that their would be more than one Derelict Space Ship on that planet and that there could be more than one Temple/Hanger.
As for that Disc, maybe you have a good point.
Or it could be part of the flashback scene going back to the dawn of our creation and that the craft is some kind of Mothership they used to first visit Earth?

MemberOvomorphApr-02-2012 9:03 PM@Macs: No. She gets the c-section and then she slowly walks through the corridor stumbling towards the rest of the crew... (you can see the scar in her belly in that part). When she gets to them she falls to her knees and tells them what happened... that's when she utters the phrase "I was wrong, we were so wrong... I'm so sorry...".
BTW... The person getting that tentacle in his arm is Fifield. That thing changes him into a Xeno/human hybrid...
